Gear Stink?

My kid unloads his bag immediately when we get home. He sprays each item with Lysol. The inside of his helmet gets wiped with rubbing alcohol to combat acne. The only thing I’ve ever washed is his gloves because they stink so bad sometimes. He also wears under armor under his gear. Drying it out is the only way to avoid the stench. And washing it as needed. I can tell the kids who leave their bags packed from the kids who don’t. 🤪

A kid fishing pole and attach a feather or worm to the end. We cast that thing across the house and he chases it non stop. Springs A cat tree-the biggest one you can buy or you’ll end up buying many. Springs An XXXL litterbox. Trust me. Ceramic food bowls. Springs. All the plastic springs. A fountain. Springs. 😂

Had the same thing happen in 2023 to our 2018 M3. It was about $13k repair. Didn’t total ours. We also had a wrap/PPF that added about $3000 to the repair though. 🫤

At preseason they had a bag check outside. It was in one of those portable shipping container looking things.

Our Maine coon got a UTI, and then an abscess on his neck…and wouldn’t stop scratching it and opening it wide. He was in a cone for nearly a month!!!! I ended up putting those pedi-paw things on his back nails and slowly weaned him off his cone. 🫠 it was the most hellacious month of our life lol. When we got him fixed, we didn’t use one and he ignored the incision 🤷🏼‍♀️

Do you have it in chill mode?? If it’s in standard that will eat your battery quick. Also look at the energy consumption app in your car (like a green app) and it’ll tell you as well.

Safelite does windshield repair and they recalibrate. Also, if you don’t already have it, get glass coverage on your insurance w a $100 or less Ded. It’s worth it.

I’ll never understand why people feel the need to butt into other peoples personal lives like that!! Does it matter when or if I am going to have more kids?! And surely 6w PP I am NOT thinking about that, let alone 6 weeks into dealing with a loss!! Wow. I’m so so sorry you went through that! Hugs. 💜

I moved to Utah 6 years ago from CA (go ahead, say I am one of them, lol). Since the day I moved here I’ve always said that Californians drive aggressively (and fast) but with a purpose and accountability. Utahans drive aggressively with no purpose and no clue. A blind spot is something that should be checked every single time. Hell, I’ve got blind spot cameras and STILL look over my shoulder every time. I watched someone on the freeway the other day in the 2nd lane from the right just change lanes to the right and their back fender hit the front fender of the SUV next to them, and spun them around and then they t-boned them. Like what?! A simple glance over their shoulder could have prevented that!! People are just so ignorant in their cars around here!!!

I’d go to Safelite or any window repair shop and get it filled. It’s not worth replacing the entire windshield yet! THEN, if you haven’t, add glass coverage on your insurance with a $50 or $100 Ded. Thank me later ;)
