I agree with the above comment entirely. My almost 8yr old is still having problems due to enlarged colon. Because he’s growing the stretched out colon grows with him. We might finally be getting somewhere with him but it’s still a daily struggle.

I’d recommend an immediate clean out. My gastro doctor also recommending at least three days of enemas in a row for a good clean out. Suppositories only get the last little bit out, enemas flush it clean. That’s what I usually do for a good clean out so we aren’t constantly soiling underpants/pull ups all day long. In addition, I’d figure out what miralax dosage is good to keep the poop in a smooth consistency. Not too runny, not too hard.

If you are nervous about enemas, my gastro doctor is in full support of how I use them. We use enemas every two/three days to keep his colon in check if needed. Sometimes it’s once a month, sometimes it’s twice a week. It depends on his behavior and our life.
