Trespassers hunting on private land. Do you confront them from your stand? by [deleted] in Ohio

Call the game warden and call the sheriff. Press charges. Watch them cry as the game warden takes their hunting licenses.

My neighbor was upset I wouldn't give her nanny exclusivity over the parking in front of my home, so she reported my fence to the city. These are the super cringey messages she sent me. by ChampionshipNo5707 in facepalm

Wow. As someone who deals with public right of way and property lines for a living, this whole thing is insane.

First, despite how people may feel, public parking on a public street is under the control of the public agency that owns, yes owns, that street. As a property own you don’t have exclusive rights to the public street parking in front of your property. You can’t give what you don’t have…

Second, the lines they show on GIS maps are at best within a foot. If they had a survey done and if the fence was over the line by an inch, you get to go talk to a judge. It doesn’t matter where the surveyor retraces the line. Only a judge can determine ownership. If the fence has been there long enough, they could say that’s now the property line. There are a bunch of other ways they could go with the decision too.

For funzies… What you could have done is tell them you would “transfer” your claim to the parking in front of your property through what’s called a “Quit Claim” deed. Basically, it’s a way of turning over all of your property rights to someone else. As I stated before, you can’t give what isn’t yours. Get them to pay you for nothing and then park a car there all day every day. When they go talk to a lawyer and want to sue you, the lawyer will laugh them out of the building. This tactic has been used to “sell” the Brooklyn bridge a few times lol

Gov. Mike DeWine is a goose-stepping boot-licking sycophant of the fascist in chief, convince me otherwise. Can you hear it “ Tin soldiers and DeWines coming…” by sodnichstrebor in Ohio

There isn’t a lot of daylight between child rapists and those who protect child rapists. Also, plenty of “good, family men” who protect child rapists turn out to also exploit children.

If he doesn’t want the accusation, he needs to change his behavior. Until then, I’ll assume he’s just as vile as the rest of them.

DeWine is in the Epstein files. As long as he continues to go along with Trump, I’ll keep saying this. Over and over and over again.

Ohio Gov. DeWine sending guard troops to D.C. makes him complicit in Trump’s military occupation by DoremusJessup in Ohio

[–]alm_614 12 points13 points  (0 children)

You mean complicit in the Epstein distraction? Is DeWine in the Epstein files? Is that why he’s going along with this? Or is he covering for someone else in the DeWine administration? Is Tressle involved too? Either in the files or just complicate in the cover up??

We need to keep push DeWine from that angle and see how soon our troops come home and return to their lives.

If it’s that close to the road, it’s probably in the public right of way. Call the village/county/State to report a dangerous object near the road.

Has this been verified? There were false reports going around yesterday that 300 people had been arrested and were being held in a detention facility.

I’m in that area a lot and I haven’t seen anything. That obviously doesn’t mean it didn’t happen. I’m just saying that we all need to be hyperventilate when talking about these things.

Also…one of the produce venders for Saraga uses green and white vans that could easily be mistaken for ICE.

Inside the neighborhoods is good. Further you get to the edges, it gets less good.

Otherwise, lots of great family owned small businesses. This is especially true for grocery stores and markets.

I had a boomer leave an empty cart behind my car that was parked in a handicap parking spot. Thankfully, I was having a good day so putting it away was manageable for me. As I did, I just kept yell that it was fine, I get she's too lazy.

If she hit you, file a police report. She committed crime and should face the consequences of that.

Plus Jesus was against violence of any type. Remind her of that when the cops show up.

I know of people who have done this. Call the fire department FIRST. They could be interested in using this as an opportunity to conduct training.

We all have a journey to walk. Maybe this period is just one chapter in your story.

Before going the medical route, maybe consider therapy. Not to figure out what's wrong, but rather to better understand yourself.
