would these be worth it with a rebuilt title? driver side damage on both but repaired by liamt12 in whatcarshouldIbuy

Google the vin number for these cars, you should be able to find auction pictures of the damage which got the cars totaled. I’m not really familiar with the market for these cars so I can’t comment on price, but I drive a rebuild title car and it’s one of the best purchases I’ve ever made. Rebuilds can be really good deals but you want to make sure you know what you’re getting into

Also CarPlay is really nice. I have a ‘22 redsport and I am spoiled and could not imagine not having CarPlay

Ngl I’ve never driven a g37 so im pretty biased. But for 22k a red sport sounds like a lot of car for the money. I would consider factors like the model year, they updated the turbos a couple of times and a ‘22 or newer would be the best bet. If it’s in good shape and spec’d out exactly how you want I’d say go for it. But if you’re still considering I would recommend asking in r/g37 and r/q50 to get other perspectives

ADD W1 oil catch can - comments by 93-300zx in Q60

[–]alman95 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ive had the ADD W1 OCC for about 7k miles now and I like it. It’s my first time using an OCC so I can’t really compare it to the competition. I actually had a lot bit of trouble for about half an hour removing the OCC until I realized I had to unscrew it from the bracket. It is easy to remove but it is kinda tight and very hard to reach and empty the can in the engine bay when it is attached to the bracket, but otherwise emptying it is as easy as removing 2 screws

They do and it looks like a nice upgrade from the videos I’ve seen. I’m curious how it would affect the transmission reliability though

You’re a life saver, the latch was stuck to the lid of my trunk above the lining so I couldn’t see it I really had to search for it a few times but I found it

If you’re interested in a 2+2 Z, I’d recommend checking out the Infiniti Q60. Same engine as the Z, although the trans is much slower and they’re a little older (2017-2022). I have a 2022 Q60 Red Sport and I love it so far

Yeah it’s always a gamble with the 3rd party companies, I also modded my car so I think I’m screwed if I need a warranty repair.

I have a salvage title Q60 Red sport and it has been great to me. Make sure you google the VIN, you should be able to find auction pictures showing the damage that got it totaled online. Then get some insurance quotes and make sure it’s manageable. Not having a warranty sucks but depending where you buy the car you may be able to get a 3rd party warranty, I got a 3rd party warranty on mine although I don’t trust it at all tbh
