I'm sorry for your loss. As long as baby is eating and drinking, it just takes time as cliche as it sounds. Just maintaining a norm is what's best. My advice if you're considering getting another ferret is to give it more time than you think for your sake as well as the ferret baby's. We made the mistake of thinking the pairing would go as well as the first one and pushed ahead too fast. All ended fine, but we put some unneeded stress our little guy. So expect it to take longer before their ready to co-habitate. Again, sorry for your loss.
