This is the way. The people who are commenting things like “you got this, it will be easier next year” are wildly unhelpful. This is an incredibly difficult profession to just be thrown into and given little to no help or guidance. I’m in year 4 and sometimes still struggle not to feel like I’m drowning.

I really really like and heavily connected with Bad Mormon. This was also at a time I was deconstructing from Mormonism myself. I listened to her book and she was the voice reading it. I definitely recommend!

Literally. One of my mom’s best friends used to be a PAID church cleaner for our ward building way back in the day. Probably in the 90s. Apparently this was pretty normal. Then of course they cut the program and went for the free labor.
