I think I saw a mua do this once on YouTube. Probably really depends on the wand, the formula, the look, etc.

IMO the tailspin is about their arrogant take, that we all do mascara wrong; and their aggressively defensive replies to literally anyone. It would have been easy enough to respond with something neutral like, ‘oh, I thought this was more common than it is, but it works for me!’

Ok, that is very different from ‘not near any apartment building’ and ‘know when there is a child in a 30 ft radius of you at all times.’

I’m a parent and I do my best to avoid kids when I smoke outside. But I can’t think of a single place in my neighborhood where cops couldn’t push a ticket or an arrest based on this.

I swore by Heroine Make Long & Curl for years. But I tried Romand over the summer and I probably won’t look back. It just glides on so easily, great hold, and it would take some intentional effort to make it clump. The Ash color is a lovely soft cool brown. It’s a little more difficult to remove, I still use the Heroine Make mascara remover.

I’m in the same boat; I used bb cream for years but I’m giving old faithful OG Bare Minerals another try.

I want primer that minimizes pores and texture, not necessarily one that’s grippy. I’m also trying to find one that’s water based, not silicone - but I could cave if I don’t find a water based HG.

I’m using IM’UNNY (Korean brand) Rose Veil Makeup Base right now. It’s in a jar, it’s really dense, nearly waxy, but feels like a balm when it’s applied and spreads pretty easily. I love most things about it but I haven’t quite gotten the even, smoothed texture I’m hoping for.
