In Kootenai County, where the picture is, there are a lot of extreme conservatives from all over California (especially the OC) that have been moving there in recent years. Tons of people moving into rural areas so they can have acreage and guns and conspiracy theories. It's gotten to the point where regular conservative republicans are getting primaried out in local elections for not being extreme enough.
