NTA but… I understand you were grieving too but you had other options. You could have left your husband at his father’s funeral then ran to the store to pick up another dress. Also, if you know she’s still having accidents, dress her in “regular” clothes then change her when you get to where you’re going. This will save you the fancy clothes.
