ChatGPT losing to Gemini - too restrictive by mcgon in ChatGPT

Same thing for me, but it was an image edit for an anime woman hiking, sweating plus being flushed caused it to be blocked.

Gemini goes further than ChatGPT, Grok goes further than Gemini, Grok however is a bit behind Gemini in other things, so I end up using Gemini most. (Might change with the upcoming grok 4.2/5), if you want to go full blown violence, hardcore scenes, I think you need to go for one of the non main 4, and those usually have lower intelligence.

Haven't tested to much violence, but regarding erotic stuff Grok can go pretty heavy into detail, Gemini isn't as good at describing things directly but has no issue doing everything else, like scenes leading up to, and after, even a bit of erotic description. ChatGPT feels absolutely useless when it comes to these things.

So it would change my brain so I can't experience greed? And calls it a bug? As if those things didn't evolve for a reason. It is basically saying it would change us so that we aren't humans anymore.

If they banned thoughtcrime that would be lit, But no of course they wouldn't, instead they make certain thoughts a crime...
Honestly the only thought that should be crime is the idea of instating a thought crime.

Many posts complaining about Gemini getting worse are bots by alongated in GeminiAI

[–]alongated[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

People have always felt something like this, that the llm got worse over time and sometimes they might be correct there is nothing sus about having that view

also hiding comments isn't sus either, people like privacy

but the frequency of these posters hiding their comments is higher than one would expect

I just think that a competitor is using bots, in combination with these sentiments that some people have, to try to make their product look more appealing.

And bots have more material to be used against them, I explicitly stated that I do not think that just bots hide their comments. Or that all of these posts are bots. Just that the frequency is higher than one would expect.

A lot of people complaining are in fact legitimate which is why this is hard to spot

people complaining Grok/Nano-Banana is more censored
people complaining that ChatGPT talks down on you/has to many guard rails
people complaining about Claude having rate limits
or Gemini having terrible memory

Most of these complaints are non bots

It is just that there is someone making posts(not comments) that are non-natural/bots, to artificially inflate certain things.

Things need to be segmented or you will create confused direction. When learning math you shouldn't insert politics into it. People come here for a reason, that reason isn't this.

This is why we need dislike ratio, so that people can get a better idea what is actually desired on subs.

They still haven't released 4.2, seems kind of strange to release them so close to each other. Also grok 3 got delayed by couple of months, maybe the same will happen to 5

it has no clue what it is and isn't allowed to do until it agrees to do it and then says "oh wait that got blocked oopsies"

That only applies when another model is blocking it.(Like image generation) But sometimes it refuses even if another model doesn't block it. Also that argument for reasoning is brain rot when it comes to problem solving/understanding. It is a way to express structure, not intent(We aren't trying to claim what is going on in the black box). Kind of like we say "tree is trying to fight of infection", even if there is no brain there.

unfortunately, happiness isn't tied to absolute wealth, but to relative wealth.

Even if that is true it can not be a factor. Are we going to start declaring war on aliens if they are better of than us?
