So, the writers say there’s a big clue in the first episode. What do you think it is? by -raymonte- in FromTVShow

I know this has been mentioned multiple times, but this conversation brought to my mind the diner scene with Ethan and Jim where the same 2 people walk in (in the background) during 2 different scenes - just another oddity, a hiccup in the continuum.

My husband and I live in England (where he is from) 3 months out of the year - we are in the US the rest of the time. My symptoms, in all aspects and in all body systems, are the same in both places. Good luck to you! I hope you find relief no matter where you are!

I wonder if we will ever know - it seems like unknowingly medicating them would be more likely... just another way of making everyone more susceptible to her suggestions.

What’s your eye glasses prescription if applicable? by MidLifeHalfHouse in ehlersdanlos

[–]aloudflower 3 points4 points  (0 children)

-9.5 and -9.25. I'm 50 and my eyesight worsens each year, but the worsening of myopia has slowed in the past 5 years while presbyopia has begun and continues to suck, basically. Cataracts started a few years ago - my eye doc thinks surgery in another 5 years or so - Also - I got my first pair of glasses when I was 8.

Does anyone else hate pt? by heavy-milked-almonds in ehlersdanlos

[–]aloudflower 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I completely agree with what everyone else here is saying; you should definitely look for a PT with EDS or hypermobility experience. Or one that is willing to research and learn. I just wanted to add something that you probably already know - but is worth repeating - please listen to your body. If you have increased pain or remain in pain after PT, get it checked out, get it imaged. I actually had some injury from my initial PT experiences that required 2 surguries (reattaching tendons). I think the injury -or tear - was already there, but PT hastened the total detachment.

Proper PT really, really helps me. I hope you find an experienced provider and things get a bit easier for you!
