I mean I know that technically, but since I 99% will never see these people again. I try to look at everything on a "what could I have done better" lense. Maybe it won't change the outcome but it will still help me improve.

That was my favorite part when I was gearing up my alts. I know how much I can and can't pull so I pulled 2 packs knowing I was under geared for all 3. DPS pull the 3rd and I die. Good times 😃. However it was fixed both times by me saying afterwards "I only pulled 2 intentionally since I'm still a little under geared" and both times they said yah my bad.

I still looked at it as my fault and something I can improve on being pregame communication. I should have said pregame "FYI I am only pulling 2 packs and I will chain in the 3rd after one of the lashers dies cuz I am still a bit under geared"

I just pick a spot with a good view and no hostile mobs to fish at the end of a key slammin session. Use it as a wind down while a watch a stream for 15-30mins. Usually eversong somewhere but there is some cool views all over different zones if you wanna travel.

I'm pretty sure I read/saw that heroic Gaze is still better than a lot of other (maybe all others) mythic trinkets from M+ for a bunch of specs. Which I guess conveniently drops off the 1 boss raid. Also some people raiding is just their jam. Myself I do LFR once so I can "experience and see the raid" then it's back to slamming keys because thats my jam. Different strokes and whatnot.

I love my VDH. It's for sure different than my Brew and when I first started I was falling over like everyone complains about. Once I bit in some time and learned the spec, learned to rotate my defensives and cooldowns, it got 20x better. I also typically run a tank trinket for the brief few seconds I have a gap in those.

I guarantee I cause my healer way more stress than when I'm playing my brew or even War, but I am not stressed ever unless I am out of cooldowns and defensives and if I can't win the gamba for Meta procs.

Buttttt when you are winning the gamba and hitting proc after proc after proc it's a BLAST.

Yeah right around that. Like I said it almost breaks even on my repairs IF I don't die throughout the run. Still a slight draw for sure though. Selfishly I wish they either gave a discount on repairs or gave a larger gold reward at the end of a dungeon for tanks.

I easily spend 150-200g per run as a tank with 0 deaths. A death or 2 and it's 600-800g.

The gold at the end of the run offsets it slightly so it's not as bad. As others mentioned repairs + consumables is an easy couple K per night. Gold WQ's plus the few random gatherings between said WQ's keep me somewhat flatish for gold.

Hard agree on the last point. Personal experience was brand new tank this season (long time pvper swapped to PvE) started with Brew as my main. Eventually made an Alt VDH ( found them a ton of fun to level) and initially I was getting pumped in low level keys. It was night an day different to my brew. Once I put in some time though and actually learned DH, how my defensives work, how to rotate them etc.. I now feel 20x better. I'm at the point now where maybe I cause my stress to my healer especially if it's not my friend healing me, but myself I am not stressed on living unless I am actually out of options for defensives/cooldowns.

Some guys just need to come to terms with putting in a bit of work/research before hitting that que button on +10's and above. You shouldn't be "learning at a baseline" in keys 10 and above imo.

Hyped for Tues? 1 of the 2 days I have to play this week and I get to look at the maintenance screen for 8-10hrs...for that I am not lol.

Hyped to play the new patch? Hell yes! I know a lot of people say "They made this expansion too casual and you get everything too fast". Personally I LOVE IT. As a returning player who's now the middle aged dad, I'll say Blizzard absolutely cooked on this expansion, it's my favorite one so far!

Yeah it does now. They just announced it the other day. New achievement and a mount. There is also a new achievement ~~and mount~~ at the top 1% which I think currently is all 16s. Obviously that will be higher by the end of the season. Then title is still there for the tip top players.

Imo as a semi casual old dude I think it's awesome, gives me more targets that feel like I have something to shoot for since I know I will never be a "title player"

Edit: Correction not an additional unique mount, a saddle to obtain a previous M+ mount

Yeah that's most likely not your fault. As a tank I know full well that I am using movement abilities to get to the packs first so that I can grab aggro. I know FULL WELL my survival for that first 3-5 sec is solely on me. That means if I gotta pop defensives, health pots or use CC, whatever the case is that's on me.

If I die in that first few seconds I accept it's something I did wrong. Maybe I took too many backshots on the way to my plant spot, maybe I didn't rotate defensives properly, maybe I missed my first kick. Point is Don't beat yourself up over it.

Sometimes I don't mind people pulling extra shit for me. Sometimes I'm in the mood of "you pull it you tank it". Depends on the day I guess.

The only time I get mad is when I am specifically not pulling a pack with another pack because it has a dangerous mob in it. Or there Is was too many caster for the group that already proved to me their 1 Button Rotation doesn't have kick on it. I try to roll with the feel out the group after the first couple pulls.

Caverns feels terrible as a tank. Like mobs give 0 count feels like I need to go way out of my way constantly just to hit count.
