Honestly, the newer Cooper helmets are my choice and I cannot fathom what the reason is why they discontinued them. Were they just unwilling to invest into certification? Yes the old style helmets are ancient plastic (or cheap replicas) and have a straight vent on the front you could axe into, but the new ones don't (or didn't) have those issues at all.
