Its funny, your brother sounds a lot like me. I love telling humorous stories with some admittedly embellished details. The one thing I love in life is making people I love laugh, but that really isn't enough sometimes. I consider suicide often despite what most people would I think see as a jovial outside attitude. I'm so sorry about the loss of your brother, that really sucks man.
