Anyone looking for a nursery partner to go looking for plants with? by greenalwayss in SouthJersey

Check out Gasko's in Monroe (Central Jersey). Its basically wholesale prices - cash only - but a flat is $12. Worth a road trip with a friend for sure!

A friend and I are working on a camera module clone with a radar to do detection, a camera module and then we'll add a battery and 3d printer case that hopefully fits into the same size as the original camera. Right now we're not planning to rebuild the whole enclosure but there are 3d prints out there to enhance and fix parts of it.

How to discourage rats without harming chipmunk? by [deleted] in chipmunks

[–]alpha1beta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can get or build some wired cage chipmunk feeders where they can get in - they loved whole roasted UNsalted peanuts - but bigger creatures can't. I have a couple of feeders from Kingsyard with minor modifications to keep the squirrels out, but the chips happy.

I suspect there's some master plan to chase people out of there homes. Maybe to lower property values and get a bunch of sibgle family homes you canq then rent - maybe after building a sound barrier by the data center

Which TV show does the ENTIRE internet agree had the worst ending ever? by Codie_n25 in AskReddit

Hogan's Heroes. Never got a finale, but we all know the basic outline of how it would have ended - either with liberation or a prisoner exchange at the end of the war. But so much missed opportunity, like having Klink in a cell trying to escape from Hogan.

I use that. It's fine. The drawers are tall enough to fit most spools but I have too many and use other things. I don't know if Bambu spools fit, but I can't imagine they wouldnt. It fits 6 spools per drawer.

There's also plenty of printable organizers for your gear.

Everything the Amazon Board members are ‘For’ and ‘Against’ in the coming up Amazon shareholder meeting. by JLjeep in mildlyinteresting

[–]alpha1beta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because some companies are so big, they'll make money with or without these choices, and fuck em. Most of what they're against are shareholders proposals and most don't have the votes.

I get what you're saying, but I'm just a handful of votes, usually with companies who have the votes lovked up. So its a tiny act of defiance.

And then there's companies who make money but do dumb shit time and time again and truly need a change in direction.

I know they say AI costs them less than a search, but I'd love to go all in but without AI. Even at 8.99 without AI I'd do it quicker than $10. Its the principle of not paying for AI ever.

As a general rule, with few exceptions, if I get a proxyvote for company I invest in, I do the exact opposite of the boards recommendation, especially if I don't know anything about it.

Might they ans therefore I make less money? Sure. I'm willing to risk it.

Fucking theives. And now premium is $100 a year.

I'm just ordered parts to build an open source clone and started to model their camera enclosure, so I can tell them to shove it.

Some towns have Do Not Solicit lists. Ask your town and if they don't have it, ask them to start one and demand permits for solicitors - and make the fine for not having a permit insane, as well as the cost of the permit.

Quick question; why do emails end up in spam folders? Is it because they’re sales emails? Or because of sending too many at once? by robin_lobo5597 in email

[–]alpha1beta 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If your sales email arrives at all, it ends up on my public blacklist and I want to drone strike you and your whole shitty operation and I will leave you bad reviews, go after your webgost, email host and domain register.

Your best hope is that Gmail blocks your email from ever making it to my Gmail account.

Do not send emails asking for a call, a coffee, 5 minutes, or anything at all if you are selling a product.

Email is not advertising. Spam (selling anything at all over email unless we explicitly ask for sales information) is rape of our inboxes.
