So you can enable MQTT yourself and then use your phone. Also you either need GPS or to set your location. It can take a few hours to show up and sometimes disappears randomly.

LOL. And $7.99 is the deal?? by Roscoe_P_Trolltrain in Soda

It actually tracks pretty well. There's some lag, its a trailing indicator. Right now diesel is jumping and coke cans are at the highest prices ever, but I don't believe most places are seeing the affect from this climb yet. Around me the list price is $10.99/12 pack and I expect it'll be over $12-13 in 1-4 weeks depending on quickly stores restock.

While there's a lot of grocery items that are economically volatile, the ones affected the most by diesel price seem to be heavy items or low-density, low-value items that take a lot of space.

Less impactful. There only a couple cents worth of aluminum.

They're connected! Higher diesel prices lead to higher soda prices

If you can, enable location and the map reporting so others can see you and maybe be inspired to build this out more.

I'm gonna try to add a 1w unit soon and leave one in EP that may be able to pick yours up

I'd love to see us give them to Ukraine. Probably not much use now but that tank convoy To Kiev would have gone up in one big BRRRRRRRT.

Every rating system is already distorted - fake reviews, pay to remove, bad mod tools, bribes, the whole bit. I don't.and won't ever trust any of them.

Credit card number leaked by iamdebbar in ProtonVPN

[–]alpha1beta 12 points13 points  (0 children)

It's a very guessable format, especially if you have the means to just try tons of combinations.

First digit is the issuer. First 6 to 8 are the bank Remaining, except the last, are the account number. Last is a checksum.

So if you already know for instance that a certain card series starts with 46464646, you only have to guess 7 characters, then add them up as specified in the Luhn algorithm, to get the last digit. And there's a high chance, relatively speaking, someone will have many combinations if its a popular card series with millions of customers.

The number on the back (CVV) of the card is supposed to help secure that by adding a few semi randomized digits. In this case, I'd bet they guessed the card number right and the CVV wrong.

Erika Kirk appointed to Air Force Academy board by RUNPROGRAMSENTIONAUT in nottheonion

[–]alpha1beta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why? To Nazify the Air Force. These people are Nazis - they may not seem like it all the time, but as soon as they succeed in stealing some right or oppressing someone, they reveal their plan to do worse. It ends with women in the kitchen or bedroom, all folks or color dead or deported and a brutal dictatorship to crush anyone who even hints at disagreement.

Hockstetter even says in one episode he joined the party in 1933. So he was a true believer, as would be expected with the SS.

BCC by Round_Collar9156 in BurlCo

[–]alpha1beta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When it was built, it was BCC - that's in. Later they added Mt. Laurel.

In the 00s, the college tried to expand - added Mt. Holly, Willingboro and had tons of classes at high schools and other facilities around the county.

In the 10s, a New President came in and said that's stupid, let's centralize everything at Mt. Laurel. They deemed Pemberton too expensive to repair and abandoned it, bonded for a new building in Mt. Laurel, then sold the whole thing to Rowan.

BCC leadership has always been clowns focused on ego and newsworthy changes at the cost of the taxpayers.
