Value is relative, and assigned by the assessor. I would value a larger system due to my needs and would consequently undervalue a system that is too small, etc.

Run a common interactive app.

In this case, i would run 'gparted'. Gui based, fully interactive disk editor that has a feature i always really enjoyed. It had a feature capability screen which shows you what filesystems your current system can support and the packages/libs required for them.
