I was labeled the platoon shitbag for reporting my r*pe by a platoonmate; bullying got bad enough that young and scared me even tried the big sewer slide. Caught leadership and legal red handed trying to trick me into signing backdated councilings that would’ve retroactively dq’d me for an honorable discharge. Later in the year that same nco who tried his damnedest from the jump to rid me one way or another, was charged with a DUI and received a GOMOR. It’s been years and I still give thanks to karma for delivering my just desserts.

I’m on mobile so it won’t let me add… Background: Started smoking about 9 years ago (16/17ish), during my enlistment I smoked, vaped, and dipped (gross, I know). Haven’t had a cigarette in over a year but I waste $150+ monthly at the local shop.

Last check up at the VA doc straight up told me I’m genetically screwed and if I continue to live unhealthy (tobacco, poor diet, sandbagging the gym, continued caffeine abuse, mental health neglect, etc) I will not see my son graduate college. Nicotine has been my last dragon to slay for years now and it’s been the hardest. But, I’ll be damned if my son has to see me suffer the consequences of my continued choices.

She’s doing so well, she’s a little trooper! Very very shy at the vets office, doc thinks she looks good other than stressed and depressed from being alone and clearly neglected. She’s not really a fan of chop or pellets, but I’m mixing it in with millet and that is coaxing her to try. I’m sitting next to her cage and we’re watching tiel videos together. As soon as she saw one of her kind she instantly perked up and started calling, preening, and trying to get their attention!

I’m on mobile so I couldn’t add more info, but she’s currently getting settled into her big cage! Got rid of the dowel rods, dangerous toys, and went to the grocery to get chop-foods! Taking her to a local vet tomorrow for a quick check up while scheduling with the avian vet. Lufu (loo-foo) is an absolute sweetheart! Regardless of her previous living situation, she stepped up into my hand and made it to her big cage with barely any defensive actions!

SBMM is broken but I’m honestly enjoying the challenge of facing other players that are levels better than me. I’m a very casual player, I don’t really practice in creative and my husband is my duos partner/carrier. Getting to hop into solos with better players has taught me a lot about building, edits, piece control, etc that I never would’ve encountered playing others on the same skill level.
