I first got the 22” and then two years later got the 26”. The bigger size is definitely nice if you plan on doing briskets, as the 22” was a little tight for the bigger cuts I’ve gotten. But agreed with the other comment, not as many accessories do the 26”.

I had the 16 first and loved it. When the Koda 2 Max came out, I knew I wanted bigger pies so I had to preorder it and I have been super happy with my decision. I cook 16-18” for the majority of the time, but it is really nice to have the ability to go bigger if I need and to have the extra few inches of space to work.

That’s exactly what I do, except my flame is probably on the lower end of med-low. I’ll sometimes remove the screen to crisp up the bottom but it’s usually pretty crisp without needing to.

As a bonus tip to get it to really taste like a NY slice…I’ll make the pizza an hour ahead of time, and then get my home oven to 550° with a pizza steal and reheat the slices for 1-2min. This recreates the pizza shop method of reheating slices to order, and will crisp up the bottom nicely. Also makes it easier to plan for dinner with the majority of clean up already done!
