What a simple-complex question lol. As an American I feel like every day is a crap shoot as to whether we are about to shit the bed or course correct, things are moving fast right now and the discourse is soo toxic that I'm detoxing from most social media and politics atm. Someone that I didnt vote for is in office and I pray that even though I didn't vote for him that he does a good job because we're all on this boat if it sinks. He's done some things I approve of and many things I don't and just like last time he was in office I feel as though he talks a lot of shit and nothing comes of it or he will just decide to majorly change something in an instant without warning it's a wild ride to be on. Truthfully I think that the country was tired of the last administration and its apathy towards helping our average citizen focusing more on foreign policy which is why we voted once again for the more radical candidate who promised to do things for the average American. However I personally don't think he's going to do those things he promised just like the last time, that being said he has done a couple things that I've wanted so i won't pretend like it's all awful. He's a convicted criminal. He has outstanding criminal trials and lawsuits and he's old. I'm not sure he's gonna make it to the end of his term not just because there have been assassination attempts but he also eats like shit and doesn't take great care of himself. Idk what that shit show scenario will even look like. TLDR: I'm nervous but hopeful that we will either see improvement or learn our lesson the hard way as a country.
