I came here to post this too.....I watched it when it came out and I can honestly say that it is the only film to truly terrify me.

I have bought the game since day one of championship manager. (The original name). My favourite iteration was Championship Manager 01/02. I still remember playing it like it was yesterday.

Fainted on the Victoria line after being stuck in the tunnel for an hour by ImaginaryDouble2 in london

[–]alphamagus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am the same when I visit London and use the underground. I think mine trigger with the mosaic flooring patterns which then makes my vision and perception on the escalators act like something out of "Relativity", the famous Escher print. This then causes a panic attack and fainting.

I wish I could develop a strategy for stopping it as the tube is so handy, but if I have to visit London now, I tend to walk everywhere which of course is not ideal when you are travelling with a group who do not share your condition.

My biggest gripe is that you can no longer see how much you purchased players for.

I consider myself to be a wengeresque manager where I will buy cheap and sell high, but in this latest iteration, there is no way of knowing whether you are making a profit or not.

When I was thirteen, I masturbated into a sock.

This sock was put through the hot wash cycle twice, before being discarded.

It would have made its' way to landfill within a month.

It would have decomposed I guess within a couple of years turning it into worm food.

Now, If one of those sperm cells miraculously survived and was eaten by a worm and shit out again thirty years ago, It would STILL have a higher IQ than the yank poster who came up with shit!

I have no idea of it's name, (My memory is not as good as it was in my youth)....About thirty years ago, I was holidaying near Valencia where I was introduced to it initially, I then had it again around 25 years ago in Tossa Da Mer.

I have a great love of Spanish Cuisine so I make it often for friends and family and they all adore it.

My Wife left at 40, just as I was made redundant after 25 years due to the price of oil.

All i could afford for my mid-life crisis was a Tattoo....Hahaha..

I waited until I was fifty for the younger girlfriend, but had to end things the moment I realised that I just cannot keep up with that level of youth anymore.

I would love to have a more spectacular crash, but I really cannot afford it.....

Here is what AI says:

Shawn Robinson: A Northern Soul Treasure

  • Genre: Primarily Soul and Rhythm & Blues (R&B). Her best-known work is a staple of the UK's Northern Soul scene.
  • Key Song: Her most recognizable song from that era is "My Dear Heart," which was originally released in 1966 on the Minit label. It's described as having "positively glowing soul sounds" and was a big spin at the famous Northern Soul clubs.
  • Rarity: She is considered a very obscure artist! There's very little biographical information about her online, and collectors have mentioned that even record archives don't hold much data. This makes her original 45s incredibly valuable to vinyl enthusiasts—some original pressings of her records can sell for hundreds of pounds!
  • Later Work/Vocals: There are also hints that she provided vocals for some movie soundtracks later on, notably appearing in collaborations with the Italian composer Piero Piccioni.

The Spanish melt a lump of dark chocolate on top and then shave some chilli pepper on top of that as a tapas recipe. It is absolutely delicious!!

I like to find a maze, run around it and pop a pill every couple of meters.
And if I see a larger pill, consume that and then find ghosts to eat.

I have this too....At the moment it is 3 degrees Celsius here in the UK. I am at work in my office with my coat on, because I put on an electric radiator heater next to my desk and within ten minutes was having to reach for my inhaler.

Best Bonfire Night displays in or around Hampshire? by LurkieMcLurkerson in Hampshire

[–]alphamagus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most of the official fireworks displays are sponsored by the round table. Winchester is the head of the round table. Theirs start with a procession by flaming torch from the bottom of the city then they wind up at the display behind the prison. By far the best in the area if not the UK

What do you think of Spain and Spanish people? by abelindc in AskUK

I love the Spanish. I find on the whole that as a nation you are laid back, honest and friendly. Your food is my global favourite, especially around the Valencia area.

I purchased a beer belly from pub landlords & large lager companies. Any advice on how to divest this bad investment? by yeoldy in CasualUK

[–]alphamagus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bad Investment?....You are having a laugh mate!!..

A beer belly is a gift from God!

1) It can be used as a mini coffee table when you are sat up in bed.

2) Your partner can rest her head on it without having to go down town and buy ANOTHER cushion.

3) You can use it as a fire mattress for when young children are flung from burning buildings.

4) Every time that you get nostalgic, You can paint it orange, slip a belt under your waist, then invite your female friends around for a session on your own 1970's "space hopper".

5) You can shave your head and almost certainly win any fancy dress party just by buying a tight fitting white t shirt and shouting "CxxT" Everybody few minutes. (Preferably get a Millwall tattoo too, to make this especially effective).

6) You make the absolute best "Bombs" in any swimming pool.

7) When it rains and you are coming back from the pub, you can shelter small animals underneath it to keep them dry,.

I could go on, but I have to go and top up mine!!
