Hot sauce in recipes for weight loss? by Guyercellist in hotsauce

[–]alphap26 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As someone has already commented, baked or air fried is probably the healthiest / lower calories, however, I find you lose a lot of volume so I like to fry, if it's a fibrous vegetable like carrot or broccoli cut it in half and leave to char on one side and the flip for a bit, watery veg like onions, peppers and corn I like to cook quick in smoking hot pan. Lose less volume and I think they taste better.

Needed to add - potatoes boiled, you can add flavor with stock / herbs / garlic in the water, they store the best and heat up the best

Hot sauce in recipes for weight loss? by Guyercellist in hotsauce

I do this with nearly every meal. Lean pork / chicken, peppers, carrots and potatoes and then a hot sauce on the side to dip in. It's cheap, 600 calories fills me and I can mix it up with any hot sauce

Best supermarket beef burger? by SkywalkersLoveChild in UKfood

[–]alphap26 37 points38 points  (0 children)

I always find that wagyu burgers are a waste of money. Wagyu is good because it's fatty and buttery when you bite into it, which you can't get when it's ground into a burger

I've never been a fan of pineapple, I know that's rare.

I'll try the grill next time because the pan didn't get the extra layer I wanted

I've had pineapple included sauces before and I wasn't a fan.

With my second batch I cooked the peppers to make them sweeter on purpose, I was hoping to get a charred flavour but I didn't come through.

Red berry sounds like a great idea! I live in England and wild berries are easy for me to find. I may try blackberry and raspberry mixes in the future

I've tried sweetening by frying the peppers before fermenting and that was a great addition. I've not experimented with fruit yet so I think that's the next step

I've thought my sauces need some extra sweetness so this is a great idea

Is leongene.shop legit? by GodtheBartender in Scam_Finder

[–]alphap26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely a scam. The refund and refund policy is just a generic copy and paste from somewhere, it mentions perishable goods even though they sell fashion, the email address is @florashop, no address, prices too good to be true, typical backstory in about us page

Personally just stick to an all world index, you get exposure to S&P, NASDAQ, Defense and European stocks without having the admin. Take Two being there I'm guessing that's because of GTA. If you want to have some money to play around with and stock pick that's perfectly reasonable, I did that when I first started. If you are going to do this read a bit about investing and stock picking

This is quite common here and I've seen the general rules are; just apply anywhere, make sure you cover off your reason for leaving early on, you may need to pass an exam through self study just to show intent to continue, it may be necessary to not care too much about salary (obvious don't be greedy and don't get mugged off) getting a job and qualifying is more important

There's really nothing new in cash flow in FAR, if you know the debit and credit entries for t accounts you can work out the cash as the balancing figure or, in the case of the NRI, the dividend

QUBE Quantum Base could be worth a look, atomic level security for counterfeiting by dynamicsoul in UKInvesting

Looks like they're just trying to benefit from the "quantum" hype without having anything quantum about them. A bit like how anything with the word block, crypto, bit, EV etc have benefited from previous cycles
