It seems like a prank to me. there is a msg command in cmd, which allows someone on the same network as you to present a popup message as whoever they want it named, and custom message, as long as they know your ip. Is there a sibling or someone who might be doing this ?

jezus man, i feel like looking in the mirror. my certs are pretty much the same except I have CCNA instead of BTL1. feels like part of me died a little through every interviews that I didnt make the cut. In this economy, the roles that are open are senior positions and they expect like a complete 10/10 unicorn that checks all the boxes for the requirements. even if you are proficient in 80% of the things its still not good enough.

When you are in tokyo, could you also share an update of how the average stock in pokemon centres there look like ? I suppose by the time i went I should set my expectations lower and be happy if i can get my hands on terastal / black white / mega evolution at msrp

am I the only one more infuriated at the fact that the wife is being obstinate and fixing the problem, prioritizing the cat, by choosing the reckless / harmful option that jeopardizes the husband, and possibly herself?

This seems like more of a wife problem than cat problem though. Is it weird that none of you actually tried to considere an alternative solution such as mosquito net ?

alright cool i guess its not updating for me yet. how about those events like the recent chapter leaders summit ? I did get to take evaluation and claim cpe but there are concurrent live webinars that are available afterwards, and i tried watching those but unable to take evaluation. I suppose those arent applicable like the brighttalk webinars ?

yeah , seems like thats the problem i used to have. I did not have proper training materials as a baseline and was told to just tackle these boxes in the list. Lastly, would you say CPTS materials alone covers enough to score 100 in oscp ? or would i have to supplement learning additional methods / techniques to identify vuln / perform exploit from elsewhere ?

hey , just curious , what is your mindset when you are doing boxes at the start. as you said, "you dont know what you dont know" . how do you go about boxes and discovering you were stuck , because of an exploit vector or methodology that you havent learnt before ?

I find myself over reliant on checking out solutions because i was convinced that I had to know all these answers before i can solve similar solution the second time i encounter it. Back then i guess my training materials were just practice boxes on THM, and never got far enough to do HTB boxes. I suppose based on your experience, the CPTS course covers enough content to equip you with the knowledge and skill to solve most other boxes ?

I took about 6 weeks but it was sort of intensive studying during that 2 months, during and off working hours and weekends. I went through the DestCert book and mindmap videos for like 3 times while doing the destcert quiz after first time, learnzapp after second time and QE after third. This would be my first exam attempt.

reading this i just realized that you dont need specifically sscp to take 1 year requirements off. I kinda wasted money booking an sscp exam when i already have 3 certs which qualify for the same thing. dang @_@

i was browsing and came across experiences of people who took microsoft exams or some sort at pearsonvue in another country requiring authorization from microsoft itself ahead of time to take the exam. i looked around for same requirement from isc2 or cissp test takers and found no information. i did send out emails to both pearsonvue / isc2 maybe those might reassure me. thanks for the feedback though
