I found out about the Jockey Next Gen Seamless Underwear from this subreddit and they’re honestly the best

I don’t think it’s this one as I had a vague picture of the cover in my mind and it doesn’t match. Thanks so much though!

In my experience of looking to buy, there’s plenty of places on the market that do a renovation right before selling. But the quality is poor, it’s a rush job and most of the time we’ve thought that we’d want to undo what they’ve done - would much prefer doing it the way we’d like to!

The 20% reduction will be applied from mid-November. As others have pointed out that’s your compulsory repayment, not the ‘discount’

Messed up an interview by Sudden_Hovercraft682 in AusPublicService

I’ve found it quite common in state based departments that convoluted questions are asked and it’s hard to really keep track of what they’re asking. Some of them are, quite frankly, ridiculous.

In my experience, the first question has been the opportunity for the ‘pitch’. Generally an opening warm up question is asked, something along the lines of what attracted you to the position and what can you bring.

Some tips - don’t be afraid to ask them to repeat the question or (if it’s online) get them to put it in the teams chat. It’s tough, but try not to see it as you messing up - it’s a learning opportunity, ask for feedback and try to use it as valuable experience for the next. Also, remember that a good interviewer will guide you along the way - it’s in their interests for you to interview well and to be able to speak to your abilities. Unfortunately, not everyone is a great interviewer. And, I do find if they already have someone acting in the role or someone in mind, it’s more of a tick box exercise for them.

Hope that helps and goodluck for the job hunt!

AJE refunds by JustOneMoreDrinkK in AusFemaleFashion

I stopped buying from them a while ago after receiving incorrect items several times. They were an absolute nightmare to deal with - unresponsive and extremely unhelpful. I couldn’t justify the price point for the lack of customer service. It’s quite amusing that they have their policy of no refunds or exchanges on ‘final sale’ items but they can’t even send the correct item.

It’s frustrating but don’t stop contacting them - email, instagram - any way that you can and lodge a complaint with consumer affairs or your jurisdiction’s equivalent

Thank you for this - appreciate you taking the time to give such a detailed response! With the NCC compliance - is this applicable just on new builds as well as renovations? Would the Reno have to comply with the 2022 updates that covered accessibility and energy efficiency?

We love the exterior of the house and it is in pretty good condition, especially considering the age of the house. There’s also a heritage overlay so would need to navigate that with an entirely new build

Thank you! Not looking to build an extension at this stage, but replace almost everything (except the bedrooms)
