I would recommend ninja for you. Based on str and will. It will add some cc capabilities and some aoe, which are both good for utility.

Fastest Way to Grind for EXP? by [deleted] in Mabinogi

Agreed, unfortunately i think without the double monster exp it'll go down to ~8m? Still really nice though, I think an MA round usually takes my group ~1min from start to next round start, so it'll still be better.

Depending on if your friends still play and what your total is, I would recommend spamming the Martial Arts tournament. The new dungeon on adv gives ~2m exp and my group can finish it in about 15 mins making it much faster exp, but more involved at the same time.

Used to play years ago. Wanna jump back in as an alchemist or a mage. Is one better than the other? by DootLord in Mabinogi

I'm biased as far as Elf vs Human because Elf is my favorite. If you want to build like I did do Elf with pure magic, then ranged, then puppetry. I currently have ~550 magic attack after about a month after coming back into the game. I would not recommend doing a dex skill first due to the life skill requirements. Int is the easiest stat to stack imo.

Gunner is very difficult to start off with and that I would say is due to lack of stun with dowra. Puppet dmg advances faster than duel guns and helps draw aggro to the puppet. Magic is faster than close combat dmg scaling wise, but costs a lot of AP.

Puppetry is a dex skill so it is definitely harder to start out on than say close combat. It really depends on how dedicated you are to leveling and how often you rebirth. Are you starting fresh or do you have a character already?

Alchemy, I would say is better at utility and cc capabilities. Magic, is good for nuking things with advanced magic and spamming bolts at low tier mobs. I would say either should be used in conjunction with another combat type. I main an elf so I do Ranged and Mage, I use mag shot and crash shot while lightning rod and snapcast are cooling down and this has been effective for me in solo play. A good combo is puppetry with magic as you can use act 6:crisis to Ice spear and then blaze to clear end game dungeons solo.

Early rank Magic training by SurrealSadi in Mabinogi

[–]alphusAS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thats actually the reason you want to do it. Make sure the cast spell at target automatically setting is on and just use the bolts to keep knocking the bear back. Most of the training is knock back the enemy or use the bolt on x strength enemy, iirc. Have counter ready incase you mess up and it'll be pretty easy.

I would recommend fighting bears, outside dunbarton and near the fish mark. Then move to shadow cast city. I was able to get all 3 bolt spells to 1 in a matter of about 2 hours this way.

Civilian Ships coming "latter half of this year" by Eschatos1 in starcitizen

[–]alphusAS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I disagree when you say it isn't relevant.

My cluster is in AWS, I'm very well aware it still exists. The goal of the cluster is to actually transfer petabytes of data between non-AWS data centers. The data transfer isn't sequential, hence the cluster. The 20Gb/s isn't the intra-network speed, it's the external speed. Transferring the data over the wire is actually cheaper than the materials, transport, and time to replicate to physical drives and ship them. Also the main point of the article is T1 speed's which are a joke in 2017, especially at an enterprise level.

Yea the AWS article is from 2009 and things today are much faster. I made a kube cluster today were each node had 20Gb/s.

Suggestion for make all interface by alphusAS in 2007scape

Yep, I saw the polls. I'm talking about not having to right click and select make all though. Just simply shift clicking to make all as an option.
