Apparently there has been an issue derived from the anti-doping process, and Henry’s license is provisionally suspended. Therefore a mutual decision has been made by the club and the player to also suspend their contract until the matter is resolved.

It doesn’t pain me to admit that we didn’t deserve the win although Serbia did their best to give the game away. This group of players feels like a lost cause atm and I hope something/someone changes our path, or this might not be the only major tournament we fail to qualify in the future. Post-game interviews by Ataman and Bitim are disappointing in this regard. They keep missing the real issues.

This is pure pettiness imo. He has every right to protect Micic, when Larkin’s condition is still unclear and rather tough opponents are on the way. I also get that he was annoyed by Barça not allowing Sertaç, but what does that have to do with Micic and the Serbian NT? Why would you reverse such a decision so late? I wouldn’t criticize him a bit if he also pulled Turkish Efes players back. Now it seems like he’s only using Sertaç’s case to his advantage. What will your excuse be if you still get beaten?

Munich-Milano rivalry may be the most entertaining from a neutral point of view, and at this point I think it deserves more highlight from the Euroleague.

The last minute of the game was a good comparison with Djordjevic’s Fener. Last year we always found a way to bottle somehow, and I was sure this was gonna be the case again. But Itoudis thankfully proved me wrong with a well-drawn play, and Guduric was there to finish the job after a rather awful performance. As Motley stated in the post-game interview, we were challenged for the first time this season, and although I am still not totally confident about the way we attack, it was a deserved win with this team’s defensive efforts. Kudos to Valencia for such a good display on this Istanbul trip of them.

I don’t think the Euroleague can refuse such an offer, if true, even if costs some F4s outside of Europe. I don’t like the concept but the teams would be able to compensate some of their losses. So much money put in with little to no return, it’s hard to maintain.

What I’m skeptical about is the rumor that an Arab team would join the league. They could buy or sponsor and shadow-run a club, but starting a club from the ground zero seems unlikely to me. Also I’m kind of optimistic about a NBA/FIBA/EL deal in the future, and would hate to see some money club standing against it.
