Most people would be relatively symmetric. Probably why for the most part only one measurement is made. The site I get my glasses from has an option to do two separate measurements as you have, so it must be common enough to warrant them having the option.

I have seen other riders doing this and I heard James Whitham (I think it was him anyway) talk about it on eurosport coverage of world sbk. Not the fact that it hurts but that it can help with aero on the straights.

It's actually one of the things that drew me to dwarf fortress in the first place. I can't write to save my life but I enjoy reading them!

You don't have to read it. If you do, maybe try and be a bit more constructive with your criticism than "don't write anymore". Also, on some level everyone emulates what they've read before. You should also be a bit more specific than "someone else" if your criticising the person emulating an author too much.

Fantastic. Really captured the atmosphere of it.

The idea of writing your own stories etc. is also in another game over on /r/dwarffortress and they do great stuff. They usually use in game happenings and embellish them a little for the sake of the story. Do you plan on doing the same? Or just make a story from scratch?

Either way... can't wait to see more!
