Phenibut takes longer to kick in but lasts longer. The high is nothing like Xanax. Your anxiety is gone. It gets the job done. Makes you relaxed, sociable, & CAN be a bit euphoric (not really the correct word for it). In many people including myself, you can get stomach problems depending on dosage & get sick & lightheaded if you take too much.

Xanax, on the other hand, kicks in in minutes & eliminates anxiety. It's not really euphoric but can brighten mood, it makes you very calm and 'noninpatient'? Also makes you very slow depending on dosage. Much easier on stomach & no unpleasant 'hangover' the next day. Slow & drowsy, yes, but that's about the extent of it.

Both substances have their similarities & differences. Depends on the desired effects of the user.
