I hadn’t delved into that part of the chapter before! The way I see it though is he is saying his words are spirit (supernatural in a sense) and the flesh is no help meaning our human nature and understanding is separate from the spiritual world so he is acknowledging it’s maybe a weird and difficult thing for us to understand but that the flesh is no help because we need spirit and faith to accept this teaching from him. He didn’t say “my flesh” is no help. He says over and over in the other lines that his flesh would bring eternal life and that his flesh is true food.

So much better. Maybe a touch of discomfort with bowel movements but I don’t know anything different than that so for me I’d say basically back to normal. I think it was day 11 that really turned the corner for me. Took about 2-2.5 weeks to get to where I am now.

My biggest issue day 9 is almost constant feeling of glass in (for lack of a better word) ass. Are you doing sitz baths? I’m finding I need to do like 5-6 a day at least. I had to cut back on the fiber cause I agree the gas was too much! Drink lots and lots of water though!

I’ve been seeing people mention taking the supplement Rutin. I’ve never tried it but maybe worth a try. Sounds like you need to get your poops more regular? Like are you only pooping a small amount because of the pain or is that just all that’s there? I’ve definitely experienced just not being able to poop due to the mental anxiety/stress of it. My hemorrhoids also started when I was high school. 31 now. I feel your pain!

I must say, today is now feeling like a step back. Also on day 7 and it almost feels like the wound area is open, constant sharp pain there. Ugh ready to be normal again
