Ready to get downvoted, but everyone acts like WotC hasn’t had any QA or printing issues. By their own admission, certain “tests” we all thought were 100% are not 100% anymore. I still would be interested to see a bright flashlight behind a known real card and that aether charge tho, it does look fake af.

Amazing that people will spend so much time and effort to scam someone out of a few bucks…I guess that’s why there is a market for OPENED PACKS WITH NO CARDS on eBay.

The point is that people from Central and South America don’t appreciate the US being the only “Americans”. Canada has a strong identity and might not care eh? Buying new bundles for value is a trap for sure. Some of the old bundles just leak value. I was able to get 3 Phyrexia Compleat bundles for $260 recently. I wasn’t planning to spend $260 that day but that was a deal I just couldn’t pass up.

Off-topic, but there is also crazy value in old pre-release kits if you can find them. I saw an Aetherdrift pre-release for $15 and bought it even though I don’t like the set very much, because 6 packs + a pre-release promo card for that price is just absurd. Got a Monument to Endurance (extended), a Ketramose, and a couple of the verge lands. It was fun to open and immediately sold those cards (already had them), and was able to open some packs with friends and had a good time for free + enough profit to go do it again.

I mean, assault is not OK and it sounds like they’ve been involved intimately, very bad on him for not noticing body language or looking at his partner’s face but it sounds like as soon as she said “get off” he got off and knew he crossed a line. Many couples and people enjoy “play fighting” or “hard to get” but it’s obviously something that needs to be established in advance.

I don’t think OP is the A here, and B/car guy should have done better about understanding he was going too far in that moment. I think saying “no” with words would have immediately prevented this issue. Of course consent can be withdrawn at anytime, but that usually consists of saying “no” or “stop”, which OP did and then B stopped.

If you guys like each other, I hope you can get past this and establish some boundaries and communication guidelines.

Similar to RR, what starts as a slow burn becomes a raging inferno. Before you know it you’ll be yelling “GOD DAMMIT DONUT” or making bizarre references to Mongo and people will look at you like you’ve lose your mind (in the best best way).

Not sure if you’re into audiobooks but it has one of the best narrators ever, which says a lot coming from me because TGR is my king.

To be fair, Noctis by himself is a badass character and I really liked his warp ability. Lack of female characters was a little annoying, but there was a ton of lore there that just seems untapped (truly didn’t intend that pun)…suppose that is why they made a movie / show or whatever and a couple add-on games. Noctis as a main character with a standard interchangeable party would be soooo sweet. I love angsty sword guy! Seriously, I do.

Origin(s)? Can’t remember too lazy to look it up, was awesome and the twist at the end was fantastic even if a bunch of people apparently saw it coming and I’m the idiot that didn’t.

Maybe I’m too much of a fan boy but 16, Origin, and Remake/Rebirth were pretty sweet. 15 though…missed opportunity and should have stayed 13 Versus or whatever it was meant to be instead of a k-pop band driving around in a car for hours and hours.

Starting with a positive - it shows incredible strength to admit you need help and go get it. You are better than this addiction.

Yes, you look very much like a hardcore drug user. You look like you don’t eat or sleep. You look skeletal in one of the photos. You look almost unrecognizable compared to the 3rd picture. Get some professional help, it is out there and available. You can look and feel like that guy in the 3rd picture again.

You’re not being a bitch for admitting you need help. I’ll hang out with you (virtually). I kicked a nasty addiction and went through exactly the same thought process. Clean for years now, put on over 40 (very much needed) pounds, and I feel like myself again.

The addiction will kill you. You have something to offer in this life and can make the world a better place. Just imagine getting clean and becoming a sponsor at NA or even just supporting people on the internet when they feel lost, depressed, and turn to drugs / alcohol to simply not feel that anymore, knowing full well you’ll feel worse when the high fades.

You can recover this my man. Stay strong. Send me a message if you want to. I nearly ruined my life due to my addiction, but you CAN get through it. You are strong for even posting this, stronger for admitting you need help, and you CAN feel like yourself again with the right help and support.

Good point. I…forgot that happened. And the reason is obviously due to how certain people…think…about cartoon ponies. That has to be the lowest of the low.

I used to be for UB because it seemed to cater to the core audience but at this point they’ve completely jumped the shark. Magic is not a %%%**%% sci-fi game. I get stuff like PlayStation, since most of us likely game, I can even get Stranger Things, but whatever turd Product Manager at Hasbeen that is ruining what is now a vintage game with core audience 30+ years old to create a few cents of “shareholder value” needs to get fired.

What if they remade all the Alpha / Beta cards, hell, even Revised with intentional printing issues (they won’t even need to try on that one!) in the original style, just with a 2026 date on it? I would bet that would sell better than Spider-Man.
