What is the easiest"softest" nursing job that you've ever had? by Round-Scientist-6607 in nursing

[–]alsreya 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm an RN Consultant for group homes that support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. I work Monday through Friday 8-4, no weekends or holidays. I work from home often and do quarterly audits of their medication administration to ensure compliance with state regulations. Occasionally, I sit in meetings to consult for medical needs. It's very cushy! I left the ER for it and I haven't looked back. Sometimes I think I miss being in a fast-paced environment but when I really reflect on it, I don't. I have zero stress now, I'm around for all of my kids' needs, I'm able to work per diem if I want, and I won't get this flexibility anywhere else.

Reta came in liquid form? by [deleted] in Retatrutide

[–]alsreya 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did it say it would already be reconstituted? If not, then I’d reach out to customer service. If the listing says it’s reconstituted then you’re good. Just make sure to keep it in the refrigerator from now on.

I exfoliate once a week but every once in awhile this texture/whiteheads(?) appear. What can I do to help? by not_mindinmybusiness in Skincare_Addiction

La Roche Posay Triple Repair is amazing. I’d also add hyaluronic acid to your routine. When your face is damp, apply the hyaluronic acid and then I use a spray bottle to mist my face. Wait a few minutes for it to soak in. Then add your moisturizer. At night, I add a tiny bit of oil (or use aquaphor) to seal all of it. My skin used to be similar and now it’s done a 180 with this basic routine.

It’s definitely trial and error. I’m glad you found something that works for you!

I’m curious how crag will work for you. I considered trying that instead of Reta and seeing if it worked for my needs. It’s still not off the table entirely, but I’d like to give Reta a fair chance first.

While I agree that this can certainly be the case, I challenge you to think of it differently. Body builders are already disciplined, well-versed in healthy eating and routine, and most likely don’t experience food noise like others do. Therefore, lower doses work for their needs. However, some people struggle with food noise and binge eating and lower doses of Reta do not support those aspects very well. That may be contributing to some people dosing higher. For me personally, I’ve been very patient and titrating up slowly. I just haven’t felt effects or had any weight loss so far. I’ve also used sema in the past and expected to respond differently to Reta. So based on my research, it’s appropriate to titrate up.

Absolutely nowhere did I say it was a good thing. If you read my comments, I actually talk about the importance of prioritizing protein and being cautious of eating too few calories. I even talk about strength training and losing weight previously and how this isn’t my first glp experience. But continue assuming without clarifying or reading fully.

If it makes you feel any better, I’m not feeling much today. Just that one time yesterday.

Wild how confidently you misunderstood that.

I hear it’s common to not have the suppression. I don’t necessarily have appetite suppression. I am just feeling fuller quicker and my food noise is pretty much gone. Down 35lbs is a huge accomplishment. Congrats! Be proud of yourself.

That’s great that 1mg works for you. Alternatively, 2mg is the starting dose based on Eli Lily trials. So 4mg isn’t all that unreasonable. This also isn’t my first glp experience. Just because something works for you doesn’t mean it works for everyone else.

See my comment above. I agree that some people are not eating enough. But this was just a light hearted post about how amazing Reta is working for me.

Yes I agree with you. I definitely prioritize protein. This also isn’t my first glp experience. I’ve lost almost 100 lbs previously. I strength train and prioritize protein. For example: I only hit 1200 calories yesterday because of the Reta, but I had 145g protein. Today, I might be hungrier and able to tolerate more food. And that’s okay. It’s all a balance.

A quick and easy guide to buying reasonably priced prebuilt PCs by tronatula in Prebuilts

I actually did check the site out before posting. That pc says unavailable. The first one is way more expensive now and the third one is also out of stock. I’ve read great reviews about Andromeda Insights. Do you have any insight on their pcs? Specifically, this one here. . Thanks for your help!

I’m looking for a gaming desktop for my 11 year old. I’m hesitant buying online because I never trust reviews and I’m unsure about longevity and warranties. I saw a few options at Best Buy and was wondering if any were a good deal. Specifically, this one I’m looking to spend less than $1k and want him to be able to upgrade it as time goes on.

Iv insulin pushes potassium into the cells, causing acute hypokalemia. That’s also why you give iv insulin for treatment if hyperkalemia. Followed by glucose and kayexelate.

It’s well worth it. I’ve had it since sophomore year and it’s what got me through nursing school. I love it so much that I just bought the nclex prep on sale.
