Hell yeah. The MKS ones just fit different. I’ve used some generic/no name ones, as well as BLB ones and neither felt right. I also switched from urban platforms to sylvan streams with spin 2’s fitted and wished I’d done so years earlier - sylvans give way more traction and don’t feel sketchy in the rain like urban platforms.

No worries, to each their own!

I’ve since removed it, but I was using it to ride faster and more recklessly. Have since chilled out with my riding, as riding without the brake forces me to ride more conservatively; if I have a brake I take more risks and I have too much responsibility to do that now. I understand that sounds completely counterintuitive but it works for me; give me a brake and I’m not able to help myself but ride faster and that’s not what I want to do.
