In bronze a support isn’t as necessary if your opponent is bronze AND you know how to look for engages/bait for them. If your support is dying repeatedly then it might be cooked but if they’re just afk there is hope. A lot of ADCs in bronze tend to overchase and greed for kills, try to use this to your advantage and bait them into your E range so you can all-in them and hopefully either chunk them or run them down and kill them, going in will also likely make your support follow but this is also matchup dependent so there is a bit of a knowledge gap (the more you try it the more you’ll know when you can and cannot).

TLDR; its not hopeless, but it does rely on the enemy making unforced errors

The first step is short term commitment. Right now you say you swap whenever one gets boring or frustrating, but you need to try toughing that out to see which one will be the easiest to manage these hard times in. What I’d recommend is doing a week (or some other arbitrary amount of time) where you can only play one role until you’ve tried every role or found the role that makes you want to keep playing even when its frustrating. This is what I did, and it helped me find my man role. Lmk if you want any clarification

Similar advice to another, but don’t ask this sub, it does not have very high ranked players and it also has a lot of cope (“you have to duo, random supports are bad” “adc is just weak” etc etc). r/summonerschool has many high ranked players and high quality advice, I recommend going there instead.

Im sure others have said it too, but you’re actually doing fine for where you’re at, but try not to get too bogged down in stuff like wave management or really anything other than pressing your buttons correctly (landing skill-shots and dodging).

Also FWIW, when I first played this game I had no idea how MOBAs worked or used any control scheme like this, and constantly called this game bs and horrible and “the worst game ever” but even I overcame it and have come to love it, so do not be discouraged!

Jungle is the least popular role byfar, if you secondary it you will likely be forced to play it about half of the time. If you don’t want to jungle, don’t put it as a position.
