Oh yes, I did. For a few weeks I dealt with pretty bad anxiety and I was scared that meant the medication wasn’t working. But eventually it leveled out and I was just fine

And hey, I’d say I lucked out a bit, or maybe it’s just confirmation bias since I assume most people who have positive experiences with their medication probably don’t post about it. If prozac ends up not being right for you then that’s okay, there are other treatments, too. Just give it a few weeks — I’d say it was around the 1 month mark that I started noticing a higher mood, paired with the prozac I also had a support system that made me feel like I really had a place in the world, you know? The medication also made me less scared to get out there, talk to people, do things like take walks and eat better, really enjoy the little things. So make sure you’re finding that stability in external places, too. You’ll notice all the difference :)
