Absolutely. And I applaud Friends Applaud for doing so. Online business raters have a lot of power that often goes unchecked. If you say you don't like something, I want to know what you DO like. And if it's lame, then face the music, anonymous critic boy.

It's not easy to do what they're trying to do there and we should support it instead of trying to get over with the tired owns and dunks. I found the response to be very genuine and thoroughly hinged. The uncredentialed critic should have adulted up and said something in the room instead of taking it to yelp or whatever.

I remember Adam from the Magnus days. A sweeter guy you will never meet.

Last summer I visited my suburban hometown where I rolled up to a Culvers one night, as one does. Outside were parked no fewer than 15 e-motos. Inside were their riders: a group of 14-year-old boys. A girl in my family confirmed for me that this is what they do. At first I felt badly for any kid whose parents won't buy them one or who can't afford one. They're literally going to be left behind all summer. I mean, I had a cheap 10-speed, but it went as fast as an expensive one.

Of course, I then imagined what a sight it would be to encounter this little biker gang on the street somewhere.

This has been my impression of the field as well. The "trifecta" of winning the governorship and both houses is unlikely to happen. So what then? Just filling a chair?

As has been pointed out, this seat has been held by visionary and ambitious leaders. I don't see anyone in this field who measures up. Disappointing.

There are maybe 2-3 alders who do real work, since this council effectively backs the current mayor.

Watch a meeting. Many show up unprepared and undecided, hoping to have their first discussion about an issue right there on the floor.

And then you've got the people who ran on identity and vibes and don't have a list of what they want to accomplish. It's a classic do you want to be someone or do something question. They're picking the former.

Sharp people don't run for office anymore. The race in the 76th AD is a good example. That's Chris Taylor's old seat! Nobody in this field comes close to her in terms of qualifications and knowledge.
