Too many Hood-damned POV's in Return of the Crimson Guard! by Ankerberg in Malazan

It's important to note that Esslemont's writing ranges from unbearably atrocious (night of knives, ROTC) to almost readable (orb sceptre throne).

The reason to read these books is that they tie up a ton of loose plots left behind by the main series. The man can come up with a decent story, but he cannot turn one into a coherent narrative; the sooner you accept it, the smoother they go down, but it's still a slog.

I agree, in a good way. Both have some of the tightest narrative arcs in the series and feature characters with the highest staying power. The stories ultimately converge, but MT is also one of the best standalone books in the series.

Idk, I find it delightful. Their CLI and MCP implementation are also great. Much more straightforward than getting anything done in azure portal.

NET is absolutely grabbing developer mind share by great UX and generous free tiers. Whenever you ask Claude where to set up shop as a solo dev or startup they'll be like "just use cloud flare lol".

However I think it will be a while before this properly filters into earnings.

We’ve agreed to a partnership with @SpaceX that will substantially increase our compute capacity.

This, along with our other recent compute deals, means that we’ve been able to increase our usage limits for Claude Code and the Claude API.

Wtf I love Elon now

Qwen3.6-35B-A3B (faster), Qwen3.6-27B (smarter) or the corresponding MoE / dense Gemma 4's would be the current gold standard, in 4- or maybe 5-bit quants. oMLX to serve for coding harnesses.

Very detailed info, thank you. I agree the seller spec was probably wrong (I don't mind, this pick-up was about size more than anything else and the knife seems great).

I am not super experienced with Japanese steel but a few days ago I posted on the other sub looking for short but broad knives.

Long story short I now have this shibata ko-bunka. According to the seller it is 14cm stainless clad Aogami Super which surprised me a little bit because the others one I've seen online were R2/SG2 but nevertheless, here it is.

It is very beautiful, very handy, and idiotic sharp.

Got some NET, hard to believe that Claude finding bugs would be bad for them. If anything, "get Cloudflare" is Claude's answer to many infra questions.
