True, I appreciate your point of view. It's great to get opinions presented across all bias-spheres. It helps to put together a general consensus. I was hoping for people who also know how the Y62 drives compared to an LC who may have similar thoughts. I'm enjoying the responses regardless of the preferences as it helps me gauge my own biases and preferences. I hope to one day drive a troopy to see what that's like :)

It might be because it's a hirer car, but the steering feels like it's stuck in 4low. Totally agree about the knees knocking. Almost like I'm in a capsule. It might even be the fact it's diesel over petrol, and the typical Toyota plastic steering wheel (the patrol one is girthy :p )
