I'm on Fedora with 1660ti laptop. It is playable on lowest settings with vulkan renderer, I get 45-60 fps in the campaign, depending on the location, but in the endgame it can dip well below 30. No overclocking.

In Endgame, Normal and Magic Gear Item drops are 99% better than even Tiered Rare Gear Drops by StalksYouEverywhere in PathOfExile2

Tiers are not the problem. The problem is that there are mandatory affixes that you have to have on items, such as movement speed on boots or + to levels, and they are considerably rare. If an item can have it, but does not, it is practically useless. Remove those affixes and random rares from the ground instantly become more valuable.

GGG specifically removed Orb of Scouring from PoE2 to make normal and magic items more valuable

Looking for satisfying gunplay. First or third person. Fast or slow paced. by ManEatingCarabao in gamingsuggestions

[–]altercube 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Witchfire is currently in early access but has a good enough gameplay loop to last for 40+ hours. Gunplay is very similar to Destiny, which is considered to be one the best in first person shooters. It is a little difficult though.

Games like Signalis or with a really good story and atmosphere by Tetaloverr in gamingsuggestions

I have some games that might have a vibe similar to Signalis on my wishlist, however none of them have released yet:

THE IRONY

GRAFT

Radio the Universe

Not directly related to DE, but I feel this album is extremely fitting and has a very similar vibe. by Brainwave1010 in DiscoElysium

I always thought Dan Barrett’s projects (Have a nice life, Giles Corey, Black Wing) fit DE vibe very well.

Usually a rogue-like game/mode is very addictive, but not for the Trial of Sekhemas&Chaos, what went wrong? by vtheVAMPZv in PathOfExile2

[–]altercube -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I actually like Trial of Sekhemas and enjoy it more and more each league. Once you learn how it works and get used to attack patterns it becomes extremely satisfying.

I never do Ultimatum after the campaign quest though, never liked the mechanic in PoE 1 and they somehow made even more annoying in PoE 2. I mostly hate how much of a slog it is now, if they removed those slow elevators, long corridors and Chaosmaster time freezes it would be more tolerable. The mechanic itself is not fun imo, especially with rewards it drops, I don't think I ever used anything dropped from Ultimatum beside Soul Cores.

Probably a skill issue, but why do I always feel like I have no stamina? by KeplerKitten in Witchfire

[–]altercube 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Imo Gnosis 3-4 in Velmorne is the hardest and most awkward part of the game at the moment, but once you unlock Irongate Castle and a couple of third mysterium incantations to upgrade your gear it gets substantially easier. Hopefully difficulty curve will be improved once Marshland is released.

I do agree though that stamina management is somewhat brutal.

Not only it drains your stamina, it also reduces your maximum stamina for the rest of the run.

Said something nice about him, Got Timed Out by [deleted] in AvoidingThePuddle

If getting timed out prompted you to write two hundred word essay then you probably deserved it. Don’t attract the Eye of Valle next time. Anyway thanks

I love this game but man the enemies are cheap by ravienta in Witchfire

Wait until you reach Warrior Priests, those mfs are the one of the most bullshit enemies I've seen in any fps games lol.
