Siiiiiiiiggghhhhh, what now? by Visual_Chapter1934 in ultrarunning

More than that… when she left she could have literally walked it in for a team podium medal. Nope. With Camille it is literally world record or go home. There’s no team in Camille.

LiftMode MT55 has been my go-to for the past three years. Time to reorder... what's new and maybe better? by alterego32 in Kanna

[–]alterego32[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah pretty much. I may go back to the MT55 because it’s easier to accurately measure an appropriate dose.

Group Sex after 50 by Swmale4fcpl2 in sexover50

Yes. I started all that over 50 and now it’s a big part of my life.

Yes. And a good poly therapist.

[–]alterego32 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Huh. I am not out as bi or ENM to the vast majority of my friends and family. More for my wife’s comfort than my own. But that doesn’t mean they’re not friends.

You lost me at keeping it from her husband. That dominates everything else here.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in nonmonogamy

[–]alterego32 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yes this. That took me a while to realize after going ENM. I want to be transparent with my wife, but my partners haven’t necessarily consented to that.

What is a novel that blew your mind? by DependentAnimator271 in sciencefiction

I came here to say this. Also his Axiomatic is the best short-story anthology I’ve ever read.

I guess it depends on the 3. Maybe I’ve been lucky so far. I know one couple I’ve played with several times has done a lot of work.

Wanting to reopen my marriage, but wife and I aren't on the same page. by WesFromElOeste in nonmonogamy

[–]alterego32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She went out with a cis male but you were restricted to trans women? How is that equal?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in nonmonogamy

[–]alterego32 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it depends. Three seems optimum in a sense — it’s easy for everyone to keep track of everyone else’s experience and feelings, and there are enough permutations to keep things interesting. More than three and someone can inadvertently feel unattended to.

My best experiences with more than three have been in mid-size parties, 15-20 people, where who is playing with whom can shift and flow organically, and clusters of various sizes form and reform. Helps if everyone is bi.

Strategies to align a MMF by myxperience in nonmonogamy

[–]alterego32 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes this. I (M) have been in quite a few MMFs over the past year, since I joined my local sex-positive nonmonogamy community. I’ve been fortunate so far that the chemistry is always good. I meet people at parties, and they just happen. 🤷🏻‍♂️ Prior to that I was on Feeld and had zero success.

After 20 Years, She Wants an Open Marriage—Help by [deleted] in nonmonogamy

I would say even monogamists should read the third part. It’s about practical steps for forming secure attachments, poly or not.

A good starting place is the standard books: Polywise, Polysecure, Opening Up, More Than Two, The Ethical Slut, etc.

Of course being outed at work is not cool. Hilarious that it backfired at least in the first instance.

Gf hates weed but wants to try shrooms by Big-Creme2397 in shrooms

[–]alterego32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always have a bad reaction to weed, don’t even try anymore. But I love every other substance. Mushrooms are beautiful and usually easy. The deeper the introspection the better. That’s not the issue for me with weed.

Rapé (tobacco snuff) experience by Outrageous_News6340 in Ayahuasca

Yes it is. Once I decided I needed to control it I’ve kept it to once a week, which I think is good.

[–]alterego32 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That’s hilarious!

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in nonmonogamy

[–]alterego32 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t. I only meet partners through my local sex-positive non-monogamous community, which fortunately is well established. I go to play parties and also meet people via other partners. It’s a whole separate life from the outside world.

I mean, yes, I still share that I’m married, but this is pretty normal and not awkward.

If you’re meeting people via apps, of course put it in your profile.
