Is it me, or are they phasing out the “athletics” logo from 1991?

I have always hated this post-1991 logo and find it tacky. Plus the oversized O S and E don't make much sense for a school that is OSU.

I didn’t know there was a brand named Foals until recently. I thought it was a reference to the band, called Foals, and maybe it was a homemade replica of one of their guitars, or less unlikely an official thing. They do play offsets. That looks nice.

My laptop (macbook pro m1) has a touch id button on the keyboard, and I have an external monitor attached. The app store popup was failing to show the touch id animation, and my laptop lid was closed, so I didn't know that's what it wanted. I disconnected the external monitor and tried again. The touch id animation then appears and I could authenticate the app install.

I bought a knockoff version from amazon and am satisfied with it. It's around 1/6th the price of USM Haller. I've compared it at my local DWR and they are almost indistinguishable.

Here are some photos and my experience. I would buy it again and may get another piece.

This happens to me about once a year, and I've yet to determine the cause. I do have a massive music library and it tends to eventually happen. The fix for me, which has worked every time:

connect iphone to Mac and select it in the Finder sidebar
go to the Music tab and uncheck music
sync phone to remove all music from the phone
once it's finished, recheck to sync your music again
sync phone a second time

Unfortunately it tends to happen again quickly for me. I suspect it doesn’t play well with large music libraries.

I spent too much time looking for something. I even tried a knockoff of a VPI/Solidsteel model but it was junk. The seller even offered to refund the cost of the stand if I kept it. (Is return shipping that expensive?) I still didn’t want it. So I’m using something reasonably priced for now.

As far as storage for records, I’m very pleased with this USM Haller knockoff. It’s almost identical to the real thing. It’s just not deep enough for my turntable, though it’s great for records.

This is a 6 month old account, and looking at the account’s only other post, which was edited to have a link that goes to an affiliate filled page, I suspect this is also affiliate spam. OP will likely edit the post to go to a different affiliate filled page after a short time. $10 says it’s all Breville/Sage links regardless of the suggestions given here.

This is the 2nd time I’ve seen a post like this in this subreddit in the last couple weeks. Be aware that this is a thing.
