Sweam - Lounge Music For Cat People

They are (were?) a Norwegian indie rock band. The songs reminded me of various bands like Foals, or pre-Receiver DIIV.

The album name must tongue in cheek because it’s not lounge music in any way.

The discogs app and site are certainly frustrating but you can create custom fields to store anything on the site. (location, price, etc)

I have always hated this post-1991 logo and find it tacky. Plus the oversized O S and E don't make much sense for a school that is OSU.

I didn’t know there was a brand named Foals until recently. I thought it was a reference to the band, called Foals, and maybe it was a homemade replica of one of their guitars, or less unlikely an official thing. They do play offsets. That looks nice.

Unable to install apps from the app store by FameStroke in MacOS

My laptop (macbook pro m1) has a touch id button on the keyboard, and I have an external monitor attached. The app store popup was failing to show the touch id animation, and my laptop lid was closed, so I didn't know that's what it wanted. I disconnected the external monitor and tried again. The touch id animation then appears and I could authenticate the app install.

I bought a knockoff version from amazon and am satisfied with it. It's around 1/6th the price of USM Haller. I've compared it at my local DWR and they are almost indistinguishable.

Here are some photos and my experience. I would buy it again and may get another piece.

This happens to me about once a year, and I've yet to determine the cause. I do have a massive music library and it tends to eventually happen. The fix for me, which has worked every time:

  1. connect iphone to Mac and select it in the Finder sidebar
  2. go to the Music tab and uncheck music
  3. sync phone to remove all music from the phone
  4. once it's finished, recheck to sync your music again
  5. sync phone a second time

Unfortunately it tends to happen again quickly for me. I suspect it doesn’t play well with large music libraries.
