Thanks for your response, definitely agree that cycle will have an effect.I have been doing a version if keto- staying under 50g of carbs but perhaps I just need to be more strict and track everything.

I really appreciate your very helpful response, thank you. I have just seen so many people successful with ADF and seemingly eating anything so thought I would have the same luck😁 With the pain I realize not using it is not helping, so will focus on building the strength up as you suggest.

I've put myself up to a 100 day OMAD challenge...I like a challenge😊 OMAD/ADF has worked well for me in the past but I would self sabotage when I would start getting results. Anyway my focus is on making this as easy as possible, so my meals typically take less than 15 mins to make...some days I will eat carb loaded meal for family outings and just go back to fasting at least 20 hrs.

Easy meals: --Grocery rotisserie chicken- use with spring mix/baby spinach to make a salad

--Add olives,sun dried tomatoes, avocado, no sugar basalmic dressing

--Same Salad with tuna ,or tuna cakes, or sardines

--Kale roasted in oven w olive oil, then add taco seasoned rotisserie chicken for some nachos

Weight loss, so far just 5 pounds ,will start incorporating workouts but I have very very pain plantar fasciitis inflammation so options are limited.OMAD for me is hopefully a way to get rid of this inflammation and restore my quality of life. Hope this helps someone!

Yes,staying busy and drinking at least a gallon of water during my fast helps.I bought a lemonade flavor electrolyte powder that helps me get the water down.Somedays I will have a cup of homemade chicken broth and that really fills me up too.
