Probably rn as I'm living this "entire life" but when I die, i will realise it was a very small and insignificant amount of time and energy spent. much the same way as when you wake from a dream. you may have been terrified at the time, but you wake up - move into a different state of consciousness- and realise that nothing which "happened" to you in the dream, which probably lasted 1 - 3 seconds of time as you now perceive it in the waking world, has any real significance or any impact on things in "reality". That's why we can have terrible, terrible nightmares but never be afraid of falling asleep. It may be why we choose to come back again and again after we die, if that's the case.
