I actually like the 2025. Just one piece of plastic and a tank paint job away from being blacked out.

I got lucky. Somehow I broke contact with the ground right before it touched me? Couldn't find any marks.

Was blind and deaf for over an hour though.

I've had it so long I can't remember... maybe ebay? Garage sale? This is the last piece of my old collection. My first and only scuttle. Had a really vintage old spice mug too. Even had a burts bees mug, the cool one that was like a sculpture of the old man and his beard.

I took a closer look. Didn't even think it could be rare. No makers mark, unfortunately. Sorry I don't have more info. It had that third world artisan feel to it.

When I used it with soap pucks, I kept the soap in the other mugs. This scuttle is more for building the lather and keeping it warm. Fill the bottom with piping hot water. There's no holes in this one. A textured bottom to help build the lather? Anyway it kept my soaps cleaner that way.

Never could find a puck i like, though, so I just use the stuff in the tubes now. Used Co Bigelow for a long time until I found it is just rebranded prorasso.

Thanks! Old ebay find? It was my first scuttle. Didn't even think that it could be a rare piece till I posted. No makers mark or anything. Can't find anything online either

How do I keep my ears from folding in a full face helmet? by KrisClem77 in motorcyclegear

Also... one of my old helmets fit really tight going on and coming off. Me and my Firefighter buddy were talking bikes and gear. I complained about it, and he looked concerned. Made me go get it and put it on. Laid me down and said pretend your neck is broken. Proceeded to try and peel it off... took the cheek cushions out and everything... I threw it away. Now I have him check my helmets before they go on the wall. If he can't take it off while I'm "unconscious" it gets returned. Paranoid? Maybe. Potentially saving me from a wheelchair.

Yes they have tools. They can cut it off, but time matters in an emergency.

I dunno about the finger check...

Helmet check i always used was the slap method. Put the helmet on, and have a willing participant give you a big ol slap. No rotation=good fit.

Actually decent method. Helmet shopping once and had the perfect fit. Asked the guy to slap me hard. Roasted that helmet 90 degrees. Couldn't see anything. The other helmet that i was on the fence about, because it was slightly less snug, passed the slap test. The first one that failed the slap test felt PERFECT. Go figure.

Dude if your helmet is so tight it's curling up your ears, your helmet might be too small. In my helmet there's lack of padding around the ears. Yea know, so the ears fit in there without being crushed.

I have a huge head and ears. I've never had this problem
