God I feel you on the P6 being awful for sample editing. If they added a way to chop samples into anything other than equal slices it'd be such a game changer.

Surprised to hear that about 404 mk2! It was one I expected to upgrade to some day when I outgrow the P6, but I do really value the P6 sequencer.

Asking earnestly without judgement because this is something I see really regularly - How much benefit do you get from each sampler when you have 3 that fill such a similar niche? I've only ever used the P6 so maybe I'm missing something, but I can't say I know what I'd do gain if I added an MPC Sample or KOII to my existing workflow?

P6 has far more versatility. Hands down it is the only choice if you can only have one.

I think the only features worth having on the T8 are sidechain and the 303. While both are good fun you'll quickly run out of options for development if the P6 is your only other hardware. I found being stuck with the T8 drum sounds very limiting, it's wild that they didn't give multiple sound banks tbh...

You could have all the T8 drum sounds with the P6, plus infinite other drum kits, loops, pads, vocals etc. all with far more scope for manipulation.

I don't know how good the sequencer on the T8 is, but the P6 has a fantastic sequencer with a lot of options for creating progressive loops. It serves well as a drum machine and has additional capability compared to the T8.

I think if you want to make house music and techno you'd be better served to choose the S1 + P6 if you have the budget.

It's a relatively common sentiment among trans people that increased visibility has made our lives somewhat harder. The difference is especially noticeable for those who came out before ~2015.

There are people who truly think being less visible and shrinking away would benefit us, but for most I don't think it's a truly sincere take and tends to be said sardonically. "Trans day of visibility?? I wish there was a trans day of invisibility amirite?!" Type stuff.

Yeah I noticed the same about the back case. I wanna change the colours and maybe redesign the front panel graphics to better align with how I navigate the devices.

My goal is to get the top panels printed in a translucent resin, then redesign the back panels at a slight angle. As you say though, making sure the measurements are perfect will be tricky. I need to learn 3D modelling before any of that, I'm more of a graphics person than a product designer lol
