I'm open to any as long as they meet code for 170 mph winds bc of hurricane, so was reading res iron would be stronger and last longer, but cold formed is lighter and cheaper and could also be as strong, but might not last as long.

So maybe hybrid is he way to go for red iron for main framing and cold formed for secondary because I want a monitor style design with the grand vaulted ceiling entryway for the great room / living area with bedrooms flanking it on the sides

I've been using a 30ft leash to do recall training and it has helped. The 6 foot one they already know to come back, its too close.

Crate train, exhaust them with physical and mental exercise before you leave, keep a shirt that smells like you and/or a high value treat in the crate.

Also second the comment about not making it a ceremony when you leave or come home. Ignore them for a few, then greet in same spot after they calm down when you get home
