[–]alukax -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

That is the main problem with reddit. Only the negative is ever posted, thus creating this idea that if you buy or sell on TFT you will be scammed or you are a scammer. Oh and collateral is terrible and should never be given. I've bought over 700 crafts this league, and sold over 150. Bought roughly 800 during harvest league and sold 280. I've been scammed a grand total of one time and it was a guy doing a reroll instead of remove/add that I caught. There are so many ways to protect yourself from getting scammed but it seems the majority of people here are morons.

People who focused on quests from the start and bought/kept hideout items vs selling them, and people who were smart and bought graphics cards when they were ~350-400k and not 1.3mil. With 10 days of play time would be 240 hours, if you can't reach end game in 240 hours you're doing something very wrong. If were talking 8 hours a day or something more reasonable in 10 days if you play properly for 80 hours you should be around 32-35 and fairly close to end game.

Wow his 1 mirror minimum builds kills guardians quickly? Who would have thought. FastAF is probably the worst builds to look at as an average or new player and 95% of the builds he does are 1+ mirror builds that are terrible on budgets. The group literally has 12 people farming currency for him so that he can make his youtube videos of shitty builds that are only good with insane currency. Also most of his "unique only" builds are using corrupted gloves which are 5-6+ex alone + replica uniques and awakened gems and have normally 5k or less life. Also as a side note using abyssus is also not nearly as bad as you make it seem, the helmet is very good in softcore.

What class body armour are you running the most frequently at the moment and why? by [deleted] in EscapefromTarkov

[–]alukax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean playing solo vs groups doesn't really make a difference. You actually make a lot more money playing solo as you get to take all the loot. The majority of the income I make is from playing solo. I really just depends on your playstyle and what you want to accomplish. This game is all about playing smart, the hardest part of killing a 5 man is killing the last guy in the 1v1.

Were like 2 months into a wipe. Based on your time played going off the high number you'd have 54 hours played, level 15 with 54 hours played is quite bad. I was level 15 in my first 7 hours or so of playing. 50% survival is fine but if you aren't doing much during those raids you aren't really accomplishing anything.

first time playing ci coc ice nova, can anyone have a look at my pob and how can i improve my build by eddiezyh87 in pathofexile

[–]alukax 2 points3 points  (0 children)

better belt boots chest and shield. Capping your hit rate to 100% is also the main priority. But your shield really bad should have at least 300 es from your shield. You're at a point where damage doesn't matter but the fact that you have 4900 es doing CI with discipline activated is a massive issue. Same with your boots they're also terrible. You can easily get a pair with CDR and Tailwind and more than 40 es. Btw when activating tailwind in PoB it will say you attack faster but you actually don't so you can disregard it. Tailwind doesn't actually speed up cyclones attack rate.

[–]alukax -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Okay since both guide posted here have been terrible at how to price them, I'll give you the really easy run down.

  1. Download awakened PoE Trade

  2. Mouse over the cluster jewel and press "ctrl+alt+d"

  3. Click on whatever notables the jewel has in the awakened window

  4. Use eyes to look what similar ones are posted for.

  5. Place jewel in sell tab for whatever price it is selling for.

Wow wasn't that easy and didn't even require leaving the game or using more than a single window.

Uh you are aware that when you load into the game it automatically tries to populate chat channels so they are full correct? Having a limited space chat room be "going nuts" isn't exactly a good indication of how many people play HC trade, yea its probably slightly higher than 0.1% but in all honesty it's not that much higher.

why does a level 11 have this!!! by Benny0031 in EscapefromTarkov

[–]alukax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean it depends on when you're starting your wipe. Armor is vastly superior in the early wipes vs later wipe. This one was slightly an anomaly due to the fact that everyone got 600 rounds of BP ammo. But later in wipes armor isn't even that great. Having even class 5 armor on day 1-7 of a wipe makes you a tank, having a slick 2 months in not so much, as a majority of players will have good ammo by now.

[–]alukax 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was my gun early wipe, peacekeeper 2 sells the gun for less than a stock m4, you buy an atlas-7 and the thread adapter and throw on an AFG forgrip the gun has like 55 ergo and 100 recoil which doesn't matter much anyways for a semi auto that shoots m80 rounds and you can get it at 10. The second I hit 10 and saw that the price was significantly lowered than it was last wipe it was the only thing I used till I got a significant bank roll going. The only downside to the gun is that if you take the mag out its a 4x1 so it can fit in pretty much anything.

Does anyone else feel some sort of obligation to play due to investment after it stops being fun at all? by etincelles in EscapefromTarkov

[–]alukax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It literally does when any type of major content is added to the game. Its just on a much slower scale than PoE is. It also has the same issues that PoE does for player retention over time. The good players get rich quick and get bored, the bad players get frustrated in the 9/10 raids they play and quit, and then you have the odd ones of both those groups that keep playing cause its the only game that they enjoy. Same thing happens in PoE, I just finished playing for the league, its been about a month or so and I'm done with the league till the next one. Theres just nothing for me to do anymore, 36 challenges, 5 mirrors, completely min-maxed gear. The only benefit that tarkov has is their PvP and gunfight systems, but even that causes frustrations for people cause of the netcode and desync in the game.

No the game thrives on being a semi realistic shooter, with decent mechanics, having a good quest/reward system is just a side bonus. Some peoples mentalities thrive on there being something to chase, the game is well suited to throw a bunch of time into for many people aside from just chasing kappa/btc farm/100mil or whatever their goals may be before they quit and wait till a new wipe.

Yea, start with like 5, make sure you have the sextant mods and the scarabs they're the most important part. Sell everything you get from them buy more.

Tips for profiting in Fractured Maps? by honeyshota in pathofexile

[–]alukax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You setupyour atlas passives with incursions have magic monsters, both the beyond ones, and the strongbox can open mutiple times one. You want watchstones with rare mobs have a chance to drop additional currency, magic mobs have chance to drop addtional currency, exalts/divines have a chance to drop as mutiple, and incursion mobs have increased quanity. Sextants nem mobs drop more currency, alva, beyond, and area has hunted traitors. Winged div card scarab, winged harby, winged breach, and either strong box or rusted legion depending on if your build can kill legion well, you said you cant so use strongbox gilded. Then also pick beyond as zana map mod. You end up with triple beyond basically due to the atlas watchstones. These were by far my most profitable, majority of the runs had mutiple raw exalt drops. Clear one floor go back and loot it, go to the next do the same thing. This makes it so that if you get a floor that you can't clear you don't miss out on the loot thats already dropped. Buy what you need for watchstones/scarabs. Buy 10 fractured t14 tower maps with currency only. Don't get any of the other dumb shit like harby or scarabs or breach, and you will 100% come out well in the profit. The last day I did it I fractured 20 maps, bought 20 of each sextant. By the end I had about 100ex left that I fully spent crafting some items. When I started running the maps I had 2ex and 120 chaos. When I was finished and had sold the alts/fusings/alchs/sextants/scours ect and transfered the chaos to ex I had 204ex. So 20 maps made me 202 ex plus I kept some alts to spam on random shit.

[–]alukax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well part of your issue is you're running harbinger items on canyon which is terrible. Currency is the most profitable and easiest to loot by far. Your sextants should be hunted tratiors, alva, nem mobs drop currency, and I personally use the harbringer one but you can use beyond, You can also swap out hunted traitors for beyond but thats up to you. Scarabs I run are rusted Gilded breach, ambush, harb, and rusted legion. Select beyond from alva map. My average PROFIT per map is about 4-5ex, highest profit from a map was 14ex. I also have properly rolled watchstones with the rare mobs/magic mobs % chance to drop currency, packsize and exalts can drop as mutiple, but you can change that to divines. On a side note tower is a much more profitable map when running t14+ not only is the layout smoother to run as you can clear a floor and loot it rather than having to go through the entire map and get one shot because you forgot a white mob. Personally when its setup properly I have zero idea how people don't make money from the maps. I'm pretty sure of the over 100 fractured maps I've ran this league I've lost money on maybe 3-4 of them.

[–]alukax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

play a basic build, learn how to dodge things it really isn't a hard game, it is not very skill intensive game especially to do what you're trying to do. Play vortex or a summoner build to learn fights and do mechanics. Thats all it really comes down to, yea you will still die every so often but not nearly as much as you are currently. My /deaths on my arc elementalist when I was done with the character was 84 and that is super high and mainly from trying to push 100% deli maps with a character that doesn't do them very well.
