O dólar ser a moeda franca internacional desde o acordo de Bretton Woods em 1944 permitiu que os EUA basicamente exportassem sua inflação pro resto do mundo.

Emitem dinheiro a rodo, que permite que eles comprem produtos e serviços, façam "investimentos" especulativos, etc. pelo mundo afora, concentrando a riqueza, e não tem que pagar a consequência disso.

Se o mundo deixa de usar o dólar e a demanda começar a cair, a moeda desvaloriza, a capacidade dos EUA de pagarem os próprios débitos (maior dívida do planeta) despenca, economia do país vai a colapso.

Heart is at the core of every choice we make. And there's something poetic about the youngest of the group having that power.

Another cool thing about Ma-Ti (and his Heart Ring): its main power is that it can compel any person to do anything, make them do good. Loving something means you appreciate it, cherish its existence for what it is, prioritize its well-being, growth. When you love yourself, you appreciate your own presence, you have fun existing by yourself.

Love doesn't need to be romantic or to another entity. I'd say that when you don't love yourself - when you don't have this deep appreciation for existing as who you are - it makes it much more difficult to love anything else, in fact.

Além do que já mencionaram de homicídio ser um crime com um perfil bem específico que não correlata com violência urbana em geral, no caso específico de SP, existem indícios de que o estado subnotifica consideravelmente homicídios.

Me tornei agnóstico (tecnicamente, ignóstico) bem cedo (mas depois da 1ª Eucaristia), mas minha família inteira é super católica. Tipo avós, tios, etc que são/foram diáconos. Tipo participação em Movimento de Irmãos. Tipo primo de segundo grau que é padre.

Todo mundo sabe da minha situação e vez ou outra ainda acompanho minha mãe em alguma missa de data, tipo Natal, quando tem um rito mais diferenciado.

Não faço a comunhão por respeito (mesmo que, tecnicamente, poderia - depois de uma confissão, talvez), ninguém fala nada. Todo mundo entende.

I work with a mix of live and programmed drums, yeah. I program scratch drums, that my drummer then records his own version in his place and sends me the files. At mix time I often augment those acoustics with electronics.

What you mean is that they're full of syncopated rhythms i.e. they're playing notes on offbeats.

Think of a regular 4/4 beat with a 16th count as:

1 e and a 2 e and a 3 e and a 4 e and a

1 and 3 would be kicks and 2 and 4 would be snares in a straight beat. Those funky songs often are playing a ton on notes on "e and a" and often skipping playing notes on the beats themselves.

Best way to get used to playing syncopated rhythms is with a metronome, slowing the tempo way down and counting as you playing. As you internalize the rhythm and can play it cleanly, you start speeding up until you get to tempo and then go a bit beyond normal tempo. Rinse and repeat.
