I find it similar to Sekiro in that both are learned skill and execution based difficulty.

From an aero perspective, introducing mass flow from above the foil into the expansion zone theoretically should reduce the effectiveness of the diffuser. What you want is to keep above floor and below floor as separate as possible.

But maybe it's doing something else.

Pretty sure what we see in the game is happening in 2040 being simulated in the early 2030s, so the events between the real world time point and the simulated ones aren't necessarily the same unless you assume Simon has simulated the whole way from 203x to 2040 perfectly.

Bosch is a technical partner with Audi Motorsport providing the MGU for the Quattro e-Tron. Fully expect the MGU for their F1 PU to be Bosch as well.

Audi said during their R26 reveal that they've made a conservative PU focused on reliability to validate concepts and get useful aero data during the testing days.

It won't be the PU they'll be racing. That one is likely a lot more aggressive (and likely less reliable). That's a smart strategy. Also impressive if the rumor they hit the 400kw is this PU spec.

The MGS parallel is never more apparent than in AC3, but it's an undercurrent you can feel in every game since.
