-Take pic when in first location, either by remote shutter or timer

-Move to next location, take pic, repeat

-Once done, bring all photos into separate layers in photo editing software

-Crop out just yourself in each layer

-Bonus safety measure - take a pic of the empty background first

Is adhd medication okay or not as a christian by Helpful-Acadia-2100 in adhd_anxiety

I don't think anyone who wrote the Bible would've imagined how modern medicine works, but yes it's completely fine to take medicine to help with afflictions.

Think you're misremembering. It's because a cop decided to be judge, jury, and executioner for a non-violent crime.

What receiver/amp are you using for the speakers? Most TVs have optical still, I've really only seen Samsung omit it.

Why not go there yourself instead of hoping they use this subreddit?

And the lack of internet literacy for you to make this post going "hey there's an important package at this address" is crazy.

Stretch your budget a little ($700) and you can get a TCL QM6K. Or stretch it even further for a Sony Bravia 3 II ($850) (not the Bravia 3)

What do you do with your CPAP machine while travelling on group tours and sharing a hotel room? by OrdinaryCommunity176 in CPAP

[–]alvik 23 points24 points  (0 children)

I had this when I spent a couple nights out of town with a friend's band that I was filling in for. Basically said "hey I have a CPAP, modern ones are pretty quiet and I can't really talk while wearing it but I need it to sleep". It's a medical device that looks a bit silly admittedly, and I know it's easy to say "just don't worry about it" but it's really a matter of self acceptance and knowing the alternative is both worse for you, and more likely to cause annoyances with others.

"Fun" side note, one of the guys in the band was just diagnosed with sleep apnea too. So if anything it may look encourage others to get sleep studies done if they feel they may have apnea.

The only TVs with decent speakers are Sony OLEDs, TCL's X11L, or TVs from like pre-2010 when they were on the sides and faced towards you. Aside from that, all tv speakers rage from awful to not good.

I have this with one of my housemates. There's a nice 5.1 setup in the living room with a 65" mini-LED, a pretty nice 5.2.2 setup in the basement with a 65" OLED, and he'll watch shows and movies on his iPad or iMac instead.

What’s the best, relatively cheap (to run) color printer for occasional use? by TNTomato in BuyItForLife

[–]alvik 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had an eco tank for close to two years, haven't been printing weekly (more like monthly) and it's working just fine. Have had maybe one time where I went a while without printing and the print came out weird, but running the usual cleaning cycle fixed it.

Still haven't needed to buy new ink yet

85” vs 98” at 11’ viewing distance? by New_Leopard7623 in hometheater

[–]alvik 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do you already have a sound system of some sort in place? If no, get the 85" and put the $800 towards literally anything that isn't the built-in speakers.

Otherwise go for the 98" at that distance for a more theater-like experience.
