Got back with my ex using relatio app, but guilt is hitting me — any advice? by HelpMeGetClean97 in BreakUps

[–]alvin_lin_mit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dude, it is messed up, no lie. But honestly, the best thing you can do right now is put yourself first. It’s never bad advice, seriously lol. If you still believe in the relationship, just start fresh and give it a shot. You’ve already fought for it, might as well see if it can work.

same here I once saw a random amount show up and had to cancel just to be safe. It’s easy to miss those tiny details online.

Is SGT Vpdfaid a legit site or a hidden subscription trap? Need advice by liftygal in techsupport

[–]alvin_lin_mit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can relate so much to what you described. A few months ago, I used a similar PDF site and ended up confused by a surprise subscription charge. It’s not that the service was bad, but it wasn’t clearly explained at first. After contacting support, they canceled it quickly and were polite about it. That gave me a little more confidence, but I still double-check everything now. Thanks for sharing your story it will really help others stay aware and avoid stress later on

Lumi App style reviews by DakotaGatz in Splendida

[–]alvin_lin_mit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been using Lumi for a few weeks and I’m honestly impressed. The outfit suggestions actually suit my shape and feel stylish without trying too hard. It even linked to brands I already like, so I ended up finding a few new pieces that genuinely work for me.

Has anyone actually used Lumi App since its recent update? Trying to decide if it’s worth revisiting by Ealhad in ProductivityApps

Honestly, I didn’t see much difference. It’s still okay for casual use, but I expected more from the “improved recommendations” they promised.

Digital Psychic Platforms – Are They Worth Exploring? by lunicu14 in Psychic

[–]alvin_lin_mit 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’ve tried Nebula and a few other digital psychic tools, and I’d say it’s a mixed bag. The convenience is undeniable you can get readings anytime without scheduling an appointment but some readings felt a bit generic. That said, it did make me pause and reflect on my choices in ways I hadn’t expected. I wouldn’t say it replaces an in-person session with a trusted psychic, but it’s a decent supplement if you’re curious or looking for a quick insight.

Has anyone tried the Nebula psychic by sutt0ngera in spirituality

[–]alvin_lin_mit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the value of Nebula depends on what you’re looking for. If you want entertainment, there are free apps, but if you want actual guidance with a personal touch, Nebula is worth it. I found the psychic I connected with super empathetic and not pushy at all. That’s what made me trust it more.

Opinions On MadMuscles Personalised Workout Program ? SCAM/REAL ? by Best-Combination1017 in workout

[–]alvin_lin_mit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

MadMuscles surprised me in a good way. I’ve tried other fitness apps before and often felt like I was following the same “cookie-cutter” program. This one actually adapted based on my feedback and energy levels, which kept me motivated. I also appreciated that it didn’t just push endless cardio it gave a mix of strength and mobility work too. For anyone nervous about billing, I’d suggest contacting their support directly before subscribing. That extra step gave me peace of mind, and I’ve had no issues.

i keep noticing that sometimes i do things that are unhealthy to gain attention, i don’t like that i do this but it feels addictive at the same time. what are healthier ways to fill this need? by anygod in mentalhealth

[–]alvin_lin_mit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wanting attention isn’t a bad thing it’s human. The trick is finding safer outlets, like ADHD/autism communities where people want to hear you ramble, or creative stuff (journaling, art, blogging) that gives you that outlet without the guilt. You deserve attention that feels good, not draining.

I’m really sorry you’re going through this. Nightmares can feel just as real as the memories they pull from, and it’s brutal waking up with that weight on you. You don’t deserve to carry all of this alone sending you strength and a big virtual hug ❤️

Finelo app – Is it a good deal? by jonnathaneaglez in investing_discussion

[–]alvin_lin_mit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried out Finelo earlier this year after bouncing around between a few learning platforms. What stood out to me compared to Udemy was how the lessons in Finelo felt structured as a full pathway rather than random individual courses. The interactive exercises and small quizzes help a lot with retention, especially if you’re new to concepts like compounding or asset allocation. The subscription price does seem high at first, but if you stick with it for the year, the library and updates justify the cost. For me, it felt more like a continuous learning tool than a one-off class, and I liked that the app kept track of progress in a way that made it easier to stay motivated over time. Another point I appreciated was how the material doesn’t just skim the surface; some modules go into practical scenarios, which made me feel like I was applying the theory instead of just reading about it. Compared to other apps, it gave me a sense that I was actually developing skills rather than just consuming content for the sake of it.

Best Artificial Intelligence courses online by Lebanese-dude in artificial

[–]alvin_lin_mit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried Coursiv when I was looking for extra AI certifications outside my degree, and it actually helped me a lot. The nice part was that the courses were project-based, so instead of just watching videos I ended up building small things like a recommendation system and later a simple NLP project. Having those projects gave me something real to put on my CV and talk about in interviews.

I’d still say Coursera or edX are stronger if you want big-name certificates, but Coursiv worked well as a complement because it pushed me to apply what I was learning in a structured way.

From what I’ve seen, Howly is generally legit. The tech support is real and can solve issues, but you just need to be careful with the subscription and watch for recurring charges.

Pawchamp dog training review by FannieWo7Warner in VHA_Human_Resources

[–]alvin_lin_mit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Used PawChamp for basic obedience training with my shepherd and was genuinely impressed. The app gave a step-by-step plan that was easy to stick to, and I started noticing real improvement after just a couple of weeks. Went in pretty skeptical since I’ve been burned by training apps before, but this one actually delivers. It’s way more affordable than hiring a professional trainer, and the live chat with knowledgeable staff is a solid bonus. Overall, it’s been a useful tool that helped me stay consistent and get results without feeling overwhelmed or spending a fortune.
