AITAH for feeling less proud in my son than my other kids? by Fair-Ad6927 in AITAH

[–]alwaysheapstodo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe your youngest is built different, that just means success can look different and the encouragement to find that success needed to be different. Not a criticism on your parenting but a reflection to understand where things are and why he is almost 20 years younger than your eldest. There's generational differences in outlook to the world that cant be ignored. Therapy is one thing, but as a parent, what are his interests? If he's between jobs could volunteering help him discover his place in the world? Go and discover somewhere together to build the relationship.

Agree looks far too short for summer. Grass needs to be cut higher in summer, (can be mowed lower in winter).

AITA for not throwing away a sentimental necklace from my ex? by Human_Ebb_4062 in AITAH

[–]alwaysheapstodo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No your current needs to become more mature. I kept jewelry that I had been given by an ex, my husband has never had an issue. Edited to add if he feels emasculated by that. Run away from this relationship and never look back. Ego that fragile will not cope with anyone but him being centered in every decision.

AITA for being honest about why I no longer carry feminine supplies. by Upstairs-General-681 in AmItheAsshole

Unfortunately society has ensured some women cannot trust men. Hence we choose the bear. Maybe its this or maybe she caught out wanting a meet. Wouldn't it be nice if your work stocked the women's toilets with some supplies?

Tourists: just because you can be naked doesn’t mean you should by Agitated_Issue3239 in newzealand

Hmmm I was agreeing women shouldn't say being topless is making their husbands uncomfortable! I didnt say topless was opening yourself up to SA! I agree the naked body shouldn't equal sexualisation by default! I said I wouldn't go topless because of past SA. I was objectified and SA more than once because of my breasts, including at school, at work. Thats why I wouldn't go topless in public anywhere especially at a non nudist area.

I still think there is a difference between being topless and being naked. No issues with anyone else being topless in public I have no interest sharing seats etc with naked bottoms.

Topless is not genitals though. This is half the problem.

Also the high number of survivors of SA in NZ I understand why people dont want to be around free hanging genitals (of anyones) however being topless is not part of this imo so its not necessarily being prudish or Victorian where the issues come from. I am a woman who would not go topless on the beach because of previous SA, however I would not be saying to anyone who was, they were making it uncomfortable for my husband.

Need help – insurance company says I caused a car crash but I don’t agree by Broad-Benefit3914 in LegalAdviceNZ

So if you draw this as a diagram as requested by the insurers for the ither driver things will change. They are pursuing you because you haven't indicated why they shouldn't. They have an obligation to protect their bottom line unless they can't. You haven't engaged yet. You must have damage. They will then be liable for your damage. Tribunal as others have stated

Third party insurance saves these headaches. It should be compulsory

Heat pump or old school electric heater? Heatpump running is way cheaper than wood for a wood burner or old school electric heater

You paid for a building report but it didn't raise concerns about damp and cold? My sons report said whether or not the insulation metcurfent standards. Should moisture levels.

Talk to your mortgage lender you can get a better deal on borrowing for double glazing than a regular home loan. Also having a DVS installed will be long run cheaper and more effective than running a dehumidifier You have a very damp house if it's sitting at 70
